Next to the Horsemen, I'll say that the 'Birds were the best "stable" of all time.  
 
Michael PS Hayes- the glue that held the group together, I'd say that he's arguably the best of the bunch as far as his wrestling persona/character is concerned
Terry Bam Bam Gordy- one of the best big men of all time
Buddy Jack Roberts- probably the best technical wrestler of the group, but will be remembered more for being the foil
Jimmy Garvin- the fourth Freebird, but obviously better known separately for the "Gorgeous Jimmy" angle
 
I didn't know until I did a little research that they were part of the WWF during the Rock & Wrestling Connection boom of 1984, but left the company after the WWF wanted split them up.
