Was the pic taken specifically because Paul was in it or just a random crowd shot?
 
Occasionally I try to get crowd shots, because you never know who will be sitting out there.

This photo appears in a mid-sixties program. So probably not just a random
shot. Though this was taken a good while before Paul started calling himself
#1, it looks he already was with those fans.
