Thanks, this is very good stuff and wonderful memories for me.
When I was a kid , the Bolos were one of my earliest  tag teams I can remember. One of those great stories that was told when I was in the third grade was that  the Bolos lost a loser leave town match to Weaver and  Haystacks. As the Bolos were leaving the ring, they paused and both grabbed a steel chair and went back to the ring and crushed the other two.
It was a bloody brutal finish and then the Bolos just left the ring.
This match was in Greensboro, does any one remember that finish?
It is one of those stories that has been turned to urban  myth for me. And made me want to go to the shows live.

You are very welcome. I regard the Bolos as being the best masked team I
have ever seen. The last card I have ever seen them listed on for Greensboro
can be seen here:

Uncle Hitch, it's great to have you on the boards. We've missed your input for waaaaaayyyy too long.

Hope all is well at Parts Unknown and hope to see you soon. Definitely looking forward to reading more of your stuff here.

The Bolos wrestled Haystack Calhoun and Johnny Weaver four times in
Greensboro during 1964.The last time they ever wrestled each other there was
on Thursday Sept.24,1964. It was a Texas Death match. The Bolos won.

The stipulation was if the Bolos lost a match by pinfall or submission, they
would lose their masks. Pinfalls did not count in the Texas Death match but
if the Bolos had not been able to continue that would have counted as a
submission. The Bolos left the area in early 1965 with their masks intact.

My friend greatbologuy saw the return of the  Bolos in Charlotte in 1969 for
a special match against Jack Brisco and Mr.Wrestling. Then the Bolos
returned in July of 1972 to Charlotte for some matches with Johnny Weaver
and Art Nelson. Weaver and Nelson won the Brass Knuckles Trophy from
the Bolos.

Thanks for all this very cool information.
And thanks for the kind greetings.
I have tried many times to get on this site, and never quite could figure it out.
Computers can be confusing, at least to me.
Hope everyone has been reading the Front Row stoires on TVPARTY.
The next one will be about Pillman.
