masks. It seems like Johnny Powers used some of the same guys that appeared on shows with Johnny Hunter during this period.

No I did not wear a hood I wrestled as Gene Ligon for about 5 months a couple of times a week until the cold night in Kingstreet SC. There I won the title of IWA World JR Heavyweight Champion. I did not wrestle again professionally until 1983 as Gene Ligon with the NWA in Charlotte, NC.
