This is from Nick Roberts' 1967 journal. The page on the left is for the matches on the TV show the preceding Saturday (January 7) and the page on the right is for the Lubbock house show card at the Fair Park Coliseum the following Wednesday night, January 11, 1967...
From the journal, we can see...
January 7, 1967 TV matches (I believe airing from 3-4 p.m.) included Professor Tanaka against Ricky Romero. From the notes, apparently at some point, Romero was unable to continue the match and Terry Funk came in to replace him. You can also see that Dan Miller "comes into wake Romero up and gets Karata," (which must've been the dreaded karate chop.)
The January 11, 1967 Lubbock card drew 1879 people, (up more than 500 from the week before,) headlined by Dory Funk Sr. beating Waldo Von Erich, a substitute for The Sheik. Matches pitting Professor Tanaka against Dan Miller, and Pat O'Connor versus Silento Rodriguez were either draws or no contests. Dick Steinborn beat Wahoo McDaniel where the stipulation was no stopping for blood, and Murder Inc. (Art Nelson and Brute Bernard) beat Dory Funk Jr. and Terry Funk.
You can see the dollar figures noted next to each wrestler denoting their pay for the evening. (Dory Funk Sr. made $100 in the main event this night.) Near the bottom, you'll also see amounts listed for transportation costs for O'Connor and Von Erich, as well as expenses for the TV show (I believe in these days the local TV stations received a percentage of the gates of the local house shows,) and the "book," a percentage paid to the person responsible for booking the talent. (I believe the booker may have been Dory Funk Sr. or the Amarillo office, but I could be wrong on this. It very well could have been Nick Roberts himself.)
The $881 figure noted in the top right corner is the total amount paid the wrestlers plus the TV costs and $50 paid to "Jack." Not quite sure who "Jack" is at this point.
