I just saw the Uncensored 95 home video ad and what I found interesting is - in addition of the then-current WCW stars featured (Hogan, Savage, Sting, Butcher, etc) - they also have a old clip of Scott Steiner.
 
Around this same time I remember WCW Magazine doing a story about the Steiners' big win at Starrcade 90 in the tag team tournament.
 
It gives the impression they thought the Steiners would be in the company by the time of the PPV. And since Rick & Scott did show up in ECW a few weeks after the show, I wonder how close WCW came to bringing the Steiners back in 1995.

THose matches against the Road Warriors was in 96, not 95.
 
They did have a short stint with ECW, which leads me to believe that a deal between WCW and the Steiners could of fallen to the way side for a while

This explain a little bit, and some interesting tidbits at the bottom, notably the Hogan Vs. Vader match, that was supposed to end with blood (a la Luger-Flair at Bash 88)
