I didn't know it aired anywhere else. I remember watching it on ESPN in the mid 80's, and after they got rid of it, I just had to read about World Class in magazines.

Here in my area on ESPN, it came on at an odd hour in the middle of the week(Tuesday or Wednesday?). I remember my mom hating it because she had to miss some of her shows, but she let me watch it anyways. Grin

Slightly off topic, but my parents always let me watch wrestling, even though neither of them liked it. I had to watch every show. I remember on TBS, NWA would have two shows on saturday, and one on sunday. In our time zone, that first show was at 5 am, and Friday I always reminded my mom to set her alarm for a few minutes before 5 am. Grin

when WCCW was airing on ESPN i would always miss the first half because i was in school and would only be able to catch the last half so that's why i enjoyed Late May to Early August because i was able to watch the whole show due to Summer Vacation.

WCCW aired Saturday at 10 or 11 am on ch. 48 in Greensboro.

Big Time Wrestling (pre WCCW) had some syndication. It aired really early on Saturday mornings in Atlanta in the mid 70's.

I recall getting WCCW on a UWF station in 1984 and 1985. We got it on ESPN in 1986 on weekdays at 4 PM.

It began airing on WVAH in Hurricane, WV on Saturdays at noon in 1986. In the spring of '87, it swapped time slots with Worldwide and aired at 11:30 PM on Sunday nights, but didn't last long after that.

Big Time Wrestling aired on one of the Atlanta UHF channels in the mid 70's. I didn't have TV from around late '76 through mid '79 but it was airing early on Saturday mornings before our picture tube blew out.

The World Class syndication began in Atlanta (WGNX 46 9am Saturdays) with the episode that featured the new NWA World Champion Harley Race defending his title against Kevin Von Erich. I was thrilled with being able to see that caliber match on TV but was pissed to learn that Flair had dropped the title.

I'm not sure when WCCW began airing in Greensboro/Winston-Salem/High Point but the station was WNRW ch. 45 out of Winston-Salem at 11am.

I lived near Raleigh as a kid and it came on Saturday mornings on WLFL 22 (a fox affiliate) just before NWA World Wide.

I think I do remember it coming on WKFT 40 later on.

I only ever saw it on ESPN from 3pm to 4pm.  Any kind of vacation from school was great as I got to see full episodes of the show.  I can remember running home after I got off the bus to to try and catch as much as possible.  I also remember ESPN showing AWA at the same time from time to time.
