I was supposed to meet him next month.  Was really looking forward to it.  Just watched him kick Hogan's a$$ last night on 24/7...now he's gone.

I guess our only solace is that he lived to 63.  Today, that's like 40 years ago, but it's still older than a lot of our heroes have lived.

RIP...

Very sad news for me and my family. I had the pleasure of knowing Allen for many years. I met him when he first broke in in Japan. My wife and I know his family and we extend our sincere prayers to his wife and children.

I was scheduled to be with him next month in N.J. for a signing event and I was really looking forward to seeing him. I hadn't  seen him in many years.

Allen was a real, real tough guy. Not a wrestling fabrication that we often are presented with. One you would certainly want on your side in a riot.  Too bad WWF didn't know how to use him. He was a money maker.

God be with you and your family News !!!!

Could you share a story or two with us, Superstar?  If not, I understand.

Sadly, I only remember Mr. Coage's Wrestlemania appearances.  I thought he was great.  I wasn't able to get programming on USA back then...
