Reply #2 - May 11^th, 2007, 11:12am The best by far are the original group of Ric Flair, Arn and Ole Anderson, and Tully Blanchard. I can think of a few worse single Horsemen. Those that come to mind are Mongo McMichael, Paul Roma, and Sid Vicious.

Sting was good but he sucked as a Horsemen, simply didn' fit. For some reason Flair & Arn liked Mongo, but I enver saw it myself. Malenko falls under the same category as Sting IMO. Sid made a bad Horsemen I agree as well. Pillman was another good Horsemen though he had a short stint.

I too agree the original Horsemen were the best but I was listing the guys I liked most individually as Horsemen. As a whole the first was the best, no doubt.

In my opinion, he just lacked the mic skills that the Horsemen are known for. However, overall, Malenko was not one of the worse Horsemen.

Brian was great as a Hollywood Blonde, but didn't really fit in with the Horsemen IMHO.

Funny you should say that Dean lacked the mic skills. He is a cut-up in real life--he just was NEVER booked as anything more than a stoic. Do not know why they would do that, except maybe because they did not want to overshadow his in-ring work with a silly gimmick.

Roma could have had an image, but he couldn't win matches.. He was a mid-card wrestler at best... Mongo - well, he was the best they could get for what they were paying at the time...
