Good point, dude. GMC--way better work than Lillian Garcia, Tony Chimmel ("Jyhaaaan Ceeeeena!"). GMC is my personal fave.

It is a wonderful and revealing insight into the business. The story of having George The Animal Steele chasing him out of the ring built the Animal up as more of a wild man to the fans. Well done.

I thought GMC was the best ring announcer in WCW. Tony Gilliam wasn't bad either. Dave Penzer is ok, but not one of my faves. Buffer might be good when it comes to boxing, but in WCW he was bad. He would mispronounce names (Bret Clark) and make other stupid errors. Not sure if it was his own fault or the company's, but it was real annoying to me.

Best WWF/WWE ring announcer is hands down Howard Finkel. Tony Chimmel just flat out sucks. To me, his voice is like listening to fingernails on a chalkboard.

I truly agree with you! GMP was the greatest, he announced with more spark than Howard Finkel. Fink was just McMahon's boy, but he had nothing on GMP.
