I think that Tully Blanchard was one of the coolest bad-guys in Southwest Championship Wrestling. He always brought his A-game to the ring. Do you think Tully Blanchard was better as a heel or a face? And, what is your favourite memory of him in SWCW?

I have unfortunately never seen Tully as a face in Southwest, but the best stuff is a toss up between the Gino-Tully split angle and the Tully-Embry-Sweetan deal. In both instances, Tully came across perfectly as a complete c-ock as well as a master tactician at the top of his game both technically & psychologically, thus solidifying his status one of the greatest heels in the business (and certainly the prototype for Shawn Michaels' original heel singles run)....

I think he was a much better heel...My greatest memory is the Tully / Gino vs. Grapplers title match where Gino turned face...GREAT stuff!!!

Tully is the most under-rated of all time and the BEST LOOKING bar none.  He never had to resort to going blonde.  That's because he was just the classiest, best looking, most intelligent guy on the scene.
With Mars in Scorpio he was HOTTT.

Still is.  Wink kiss

I was able to catch the Tully/Gino split when we first got cable. I also caught the Tully/Embry match where Tully bloodied Embry on TV.

Which came first? I could only catch Southwest every now and then. Also, anyone got a good pic of the SW title belt? That's one I'm missing.
