Yes it is true, Ivan & I were involved in a car accident in Charlotte, N.C. this past Friday afternoon.
We were on our way to do an autograph session-show in Rock Hill, S.C.
We never made it there...

As we were going past a green light, a young girl ran a stoplight (while attending to her child) and hit Ivan in the driver's door, traveling approx. 45-50 MPH causing
Ivan to suffer six broken ribs and sternum. Our car is totally demolished.
We both got whiplash and I got knocked OUT with cuts and bruises.
The jaws of life had to be used to free Ivan from the car, we found out.
I never even knew anything until I was on the way to the hospital.
After I awoke, I didn't know what had happened or where Ivan was, so I panicked for about 4 hours.... No one would tell me anything except that we were in a car wreck. I never prayed so much in all my life...
We stayed in the trauma unit overnight and Ivan was admitted to a room.
He was released from the hospital on Sunday.
Ivan is on very strong pain medicine and in alot of pain, but doctors say he'll be healed completely in about 4-6 wks. due to the fact that ribs heal very slowly.
So I am taking REAL GOOD care of him!!
The Doctor did say that if Ivan did not have alot of muscle mass in his chest, he would have sustained more serious injuries and possibly death.
