Scott Steiner Promo....
May 24th, 2007, 10:42pm

Did anyone catch Steiner's promo on Impact tonight? In my opinion, it was probably the best promo I've seen in years. Steiner basically shoots on the Dudley's and their "legacy." Said they should have been called ECW "State", "City" or "Bingo Hall" champions instead of world champions. He made the point that the Steiners actually defended their titles around the world unlike the Dudley's. He also was confused as to how they were WCW champions because he never saw them there. At that point, Rick Steiner started reading the names of those the Steiners defeated and then compared real legacies. This was a classic promo and I hope it appears on YouTube so I can see it again.

I would suspect Scott Steiner would have trouble with any multiplication tables above the three's.

well, i'll agree it was a great promo...he actually looked to have the dudleys in shock...and he made some true statements as well...it should be an interesting feud, i'm glad to see rick back in the fold, they hinted last night that talent other than the current tna roster may be in the king of the mountain tourney, any ideas who that could be, anyone have any news on any new talent coming in to tna?

I thought Scott Steiner's promo was his best ever...not that he's ever been a great talker but it kept my interest. This is the first TNA show I have watched from start to finish. I thought the program was excellent last night and it makes me want to watch again. I to am glad to see Rick and Scott back together. I still remember seeing them live for the first time as a team in 1989 at the Greenville Memorial Auditorium for a tv taping. I knew then that they were destined for stardom. They were very physical and beat the snot out of some jobber. The kid had to be helped out of the ring and the Steiners were the so called good guys.

That was pretty darn good I wonder why Team 3-D didn't acknowledge the fact they've been consistently a tag team over the last decade and The Steiners haven't been together as a team since the late 90's

This could be fun, it's just too bad we couldn't see the late 80s / early 90s Steiner Bros. against The Dudleys!

Exactly. Seeing it now is kind of a waste. The Steiners are old and slow and the Dudleys are past their prime. With that being said, The Steiners would have killed the Dudleys if they were both around in the 80's and 90's.
