Yeah, but even going back to Bruno Sammartino, they did the same thing, build the challenger up as unbeatable, then Bruno beats him, maybe not decisively the first match, but he'd beat him clean in the second or third match. I don't think they're doing anything differently here, Khali was built up as a monster for the simple fact of making Cena look good, I wouldn't be surprised to see him go back to SmackDown or over to ECW in the draft, because I think he's served his purpose on RAW. It really comes down to different booking styles I guess, some promoters liked having a babyface on top for a long reign, with just interim heel champs, and some liked having a heel on top, either way was fine. The heel on top worked well here in Toronto and in Detroit with the Sheik, but the WW(W)F always seemed to be just fine with a babyface on top.
