I Like to Hurt People (the film)

I've looked up to see when this movie was made.  It has a release date of 1985 but the film has to be much older.  Does anyone know when the actually wrestling scenes were filmed?

I seem to recall reading that Terry Sullivan said the filming was spaced out over the final three years of the promotion's existence, 1977-1980.

On obsessedwithwrestling.com it lists Captain Ed George's real name as Ed Farhat Jr.  Is he really The Sheik's son?  Is that correct?
