Did you know he called XFL games? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Craig_DeGeorge

Crazy.  He was never one of my favorite broadcasters/interviewers, but he definitely did have some memorable moments at some of those late 80s ppv's.

he currently works with the IFL (International Fighting League) MMA group, as I saw him on there last week under his real name.

He worked for Herb Abrams' UWF in the early 90s but I believe that was his only post-federation work related to wrestling. In the fall of 1987 I remember he was hyping up the first Survivor Series and he seemed like he may be Gene Okerlund's eventual replacement on WWF TV as interviewer and pitch man, but it just didn't pan out that way.

He also worked the fateful season of the XFL on NBC, so I guess he must have been on pretty good terms with the McMahons despite leaving the company around 1990. Or, that may have been Vinc'e way at getting back at him for leaving. What a punishment !!!!!!!!!  Grin

So they were pretty high on him huh? I thought he was basically Sean Mooney's predecessor (#2 interview guy behind Okerlund)
