Wagner fought out and made the tag. Zbysko got into the ring a sized up the big man. As Studd moved in Zbysko hit a drop toe hold. Zbysko then put the boots to Studd and worked the leg. Zbysko keep the knee bent back and would at times drop a knee onto the side. Zbysko keep this up and had things going good until he made the mistake of a life time. Studd got back to his feet. He was hurt but used his size to push Zbysko back into the corner. With some good shoulders to the mid-section Studd hurt Zbysko. Studd made the tag and Mil was in. Thanks I like the Zbysko/Firpo angel myself. I am working to make Zbysko look strong but that he can lose at any time if Firpo can just get the break.

These were some good shows.

You've got a lot of talented guys on your roster, but I'm not sure I agree with pushing Larry Zbyszko yet, just for the simple fact that he's only about three, maybe four, years into his career at this point, I don't know if I'd have him beating guys like Pampero Firpo and Mil Mascaras.  In the Fall of 1976, he was jobbing in opening matches in the Carolinas.

I know we don't have to run things like they were in real life, but to me, it just seems too early for it, but that's just my opinion.

Other than that, I really enjoyed these shows.

"Zbyszko returned to the WWWF in 1976 and formed a tag team with Tony Garea, with whom he won the WWWF World Tag Team Championships on November 21, 1978 in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Their reign lasted until March 6, 1979, when they were defeated by the Valiant brothers in Allentown.

Zbyszko feuded with Bugsy McGraw, Abdullah the Butcher and "Superstar" Billy Graham in addition to wrestling Killer Kowalski and Baron Mikel Scicluna. In 1978 he summarized his mat-based ringwork with the statement, "I just believe in science over brawn"."

I just was going off of this. Yes he is young but most of my SWCW wrestlers are. I also see in 1980 he was Pro-Wrestling Illustrated's 1980 Most Hated Wrestler Of The Year. In 80 he started up with Bruno. I was just working him to that point. I would say yes it is a little out of its time but he will not last long on top or will he. On a side note I dont like Mil and this was my way to get back at him LOL. I would like feedback on this from one and all. It helps me make the show go to the top.
Thanks Chris

Sure he did win the WWWF Tag Team Titles with Garea in November of '78, but that was his first major title, and that still a year and a half away, plus, Garea was the star of that team.  That's what Tony did, took youngsters under his wing, and helped elevate them, that's what he was doing with Zbyszko.

I'm not saying you should have him losing opening matches, but I just don't think he's ready for a top spot yet.

My idea would've been to bring him in as a babyface, team him up with Mascaras and have them win the tag titles.  That way, you get Larry the exposure and show that he can cut as a Champion, then a year or two down the road, if you want him as a heel, have him turn on Mil and then start the singles push.  Turning on Mascaras in this area would get him a helluva lot of heat, just like turning on Bruno in the Northeast did!

Two very solid shows. Enjoyed Fishman v. Ellering in Brownsville. Duncan and El Canek put on great bouts wherever they meet. Big win for Zbysko and Wagner over Studd and Mascaras.

I really liked the Larry Zbyszko against Pampero match, it would have been a wild one for sure! I also liked the Canek-Bobby match and would have paid big bucks to see it live. These were two great shows.

I enjoyed the bouts. I am waiting on the inevitable turn of Studd on Mil.

Ellering is going to rise to the top again.

Zybysko and Firpo is intriguing.

Keep it up.
