asthe show comes on air a special VTR is shown from the end of last week's program...........

(Steamboat chops Flair across the chest and throws him into the ring as Mosca tries to get in Paul Jones grabs him and the two of them start fighting wildly on the floor!!)

Meanwhile, inside the ring Steamboat chops Flair a couple more times and whips him to the ropes for a huge backdrop!! Steamboat then climbs the ropes as the studio audience goes nuts!!!! Flair gets up slowly and turns around and..................Steamboat comes off with a flying cross body block and hooks the leg!!!! (As there is no Referee out at this time) The studio audience begins to count 1.....2....3!!!!! Steamboat has just pinned "Nature Boy" Ric Flair in an impromptu bout here......even if there wasn't a Referee.....this has and will certainly change the face of Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling!!!!!

.
.

.
.
(Intro music and video montage plays as the camera pans to Bob and David.)
.
.

Bob: Welcome wrestling fans to another action packed hour of Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling! As you just saw from the opening footage things really heated up last week when Ric Flair called Ricky Steamboat back out for a confrontation. But what he did not expect was, Steamboat really took it to him inside the ring and scored an unofficial pinfall over the Nature Boy! Well, today we will be seeing young Ricky Steamboat in action as he takes on "Big" Bill Dromo. We will also be seeing Mid-Atlantic Televison Champion Angelo Mosca in action as he faces The Question.

David: That's right Bob and let's not forget that Wahoo McDaniel will be in action as well, as he faces John Anson. We also have some special VTR from NWA World Heavyweight Champion Terry Funk that will be shown a little later in the program and..........Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Robert Fuller answers Tully Blanchard's Sleeper Challenge!

Bob: Sounds like a terrific show David, let's go to the ring and get things started!
.
.

Winner: Ricky Steamboat @6:01
.
.
Bob: Well, fans another great win for this young lion......Ricky Steamboat! Ricky this thing with Ric Flair finally came to a head last week out here.

Ricky: Mr. Caudle......I did what I had to do out here last week. For weeks now Ric Flair has been trying to hurt me, my family, belittle me here on television......well last week I finally said.......no more! I took matters into my own hands and you and all these people watching saw me pin Ric Flair in that very ring! I don't care where it is.........what kind of match it is.......we will meet soon......and this time there will be a referee to make the count officially!

(Out comes Flair from the back...........)Flair: Whoa.....whoa.....whoa....here you little punk!! Don't come out here spouting off that you pinned the "Nature Boy"!! There was no referee out here last week and I knew that!! You think you are some kinda big shot now.........don't ya kid?

(Mosca comes up behind Steamboat and nails him in the back of the head! Steamboat is down and Flair and Mosca start putting the boots to him! Flair picks him up and rolls him into the ring........Flair drops an elbow onto Steamboat and then Mosca lifts him up and delivers a huge shoulder breaker!! Flair then drops a knee on Steamboat's forehead and makes a cover as Mosca counts.....1....2....3!!!! They continue putting the boots to Steamboat until finally Paul Jones and Wahoo McDaniel come from the back to break things up!)
.
.
Commercial Break(Ed Capral runs down the huge "Summer Sizzler Tour" tonight in the Hampton Coliseum, Hampton, VA!)
.
.
(After commercial break the Bob Caudle is at ringside!) Bob: Fans we have a special VTR message from NWA World Heavyweight Champion Terry Funk that we would like to show you........

VTR rolls with Funk standing with the World Title draped over his shoulder....... Masked Superstar....you big goof! You think that since you have that U.S. Title again that you deserve another shot at .....MY.......World Title? Well I don't like it.....not one daggum bit!! The President told me I have to come to Hampton Virginia.....of all cotton-picking places to defend against you! Then he tells me that there will be a special referee......that big fat, no good Indian......Wahoo McDaniel!! Well, let me tell you something McDaniel........you stick your big ugly nose in my business and I will knock it off.......referee or no referee!!!
.
.
Bob: Well there you heard the World Champion folks. Sounds like he's unhappy with coming back here to the Mid-Atlantic and facing Masked Superstar! Sounds like he's even more unhappy with the special referee.......Wahoo McDaniel! Speaking of Wahoo let's go to the ring and our next match!
.
.
TV MATCH 3
(Murnich introduces Wahoo McDaniel vs. John Anson. Referee Tommy Young) Wahoo makes quick work of Anson, getting the pinfall after a big double chop to the head!
Winner: Wahoo McDaniel @4:37
.
.
Bob: Great win there for this man......Wahoo McDaniel! Wahoo I know you heard Terry Funk's comments back in the back.

Wahoo: I sure did Bob and you know what......he can whine and complain all he wants to. He better worry about the Masked Superstar first.......then if he gets in my face.....well he better watch out!! I will call it the way I see it and if either man gets out of line.......I will straighten them out.......you can bet on that!!!
.
.
Commercial Break(Ed Capral runs down the huge "Summer Sizzler Tour" tonight in the Hampton Coliseum, Hampton, VA!)
.
.
(After commercial break Bob and David are with Tully Blanchard and Johnny Weaver.)

Bob: We are here with Tully Blanchard and Johnny Weaver fans and Tully last week you made the challenge to Robert Fuller.......you told him that if he could break your sleeper hold that you would leave him and his Mid-Atlantic Championship alone! If he could not break the sleeper hold then you get a shot at that Mid-Atlantic Championship!

Tully: That's correct Mr. Caudle! If he can break the hold I am through with him but if he cannot then I want another shot at that title! So come on out here Fuller and let's see what you got!
.
.
(Out comes Robert Fuller to the ring as Tully Blanchard has already gotten in. Referee Sonny Fargo is present and goes over what the stipulations are with both men.)

Blanchard reaches out to shake Fuller's hand but he refuses. Tully says ok and Fuller stands in the center of the ring as Blanchard is behind him pacing back and forth. Fuller yells for Blanchard to 'COME ON" and he finally does step up behind Fuller and locks on the sleeper hold!!! Blanchard has it wrenched in tight as Johnny Weaver and the studio audience are clearly behind him!! Fuller is trying desperately to get out of the hold but to no avail! In a last ditch effort Fuller makes his way to the turnbuckle and walks up to the second one and pushes off........he and Blanchard fall backwards to the mat.......but Blanchard still has the hold locked in tight!!! Fuller squirms some but finally goes limp.......Referee Fargo lifts his arm.....1........2.......3!!! Blanchard has done it.......he has put the champion out!! He releases the hold and is very excited! He hugs Weaver and then Weaver helps sit Fuller up and Blanchard wakes him up!! It looks as if Blanchard will get his title shot now!
.
.
Bob: What an exciting show today fans! So sorry but we are out of time this week and until next week...........so long for now!!!!!

Wahoo will have his work cut out for him in this match , bot men will test him. The Flair/Steamboat angle has me on the edge of my seat. Loved the show it was the best and you keep me pluged in each week.

Love this building of the Flair/ Steamboat feud.

I love the Hampton card.

Fuller/ Blanchard is interesting in a lot of ways. Wonder how Weaver will play out here.

Great MACW TV.
