Beverly Brothers....

I am a big Mike Enos fan but I can't stand his tag team partner.

I think his name was Wayne Bloom...I don't remember him in wcw, but I remember him in the wwf.

The beverly brothers might be the worst tag team in wwf history right next to The New Rockers and the oddities.

the construction crew

or deconstruction crew

'Mean' Mike Enos and Wayne 'The Train' Bloom

I liked that gimmick

the Blake and Beau Beverly brothers was truly lame

lame like the Major Brothers of today...actually most tag teams suck today compared to the better years of the 80s and early 90s

It was the Destruction Crew when they were in the AWA as tag champs. They only worked in WCW together as the masked Minnesota Wrecking Crew in 1990. This was, in part, due to a swap between the AWA and WCW. Arn Anderson was hurt and thus couldn't team with Ole against The Steiners. So they bought in the Crew to work under masks against The Steiners.

Now, we were almost out of the kayfabe era at this point, but don't you think they could've protected this a little better. I mean, they wore the masks so they wouldn't be seen losing in WCW while they were on top or near the top in the AWA. But they were walking around the building early on without the hoods on, so people knew they were there.

In return, AWA got to host a Ric Flair vs. Brian Pillman NWA World title match in May.

At that point the damage was already done in the AWA so I don't think much more could have happened to hurt the promotion. If Hulk Hogan had returned to the compan it wouldn't have done them any good.
