Match 1-

THE EXECUTIONER defeats CHIN LEE with a big kick to the head while Lee is tied up in the ropes.

Time: 10:27

Match 2-

JIM BRUNZELL/ BOBBY EATON defeat HERCULES STEVENSON/ MACHO MAN JOHN RINGER

This match sees both teams taking prolonged advantages. Ringer and Stevenson double team Eaton after he misses a dropkick. Brunzell executes a power slam on Stevenson and the faces work on the right knee.

The end of the match comes when Ringer charges at Brunzell in the corner. Brunzell ducks and Ringer hits his shoulder on the ring post. Brunzell follows up with a shoulder breaker. He tags in Eaton, who lands the Alabama Jam on Ringer for the win.

Time: 16:11

Match 3-

CIEN CARAS defeats LES THORNTON.

Caras and Thornton engage in a counter hold fest. Both men concentrate on the back. Thorton uses a camel clutch while Caras uses a surfboard. The end of the match comes when Thornton has Caras up for a high vertical suplex. Caras shifts his weight and comes down hard on Thornton. He applies an octopus hold and gets a rare submission from the double tough Englishman.

Time: 18:29

Match 4-

STEVE STRONG defeats RIC DRASIN

Both men use their strength advantages to punish the other. Drasin has a slight advantage in the speed department and that gives him a chance to win late in the match. Strong adjusts his knee pad and tries for a knee lift off a criss cross. Drasin sidesteps the move and lands a short clothesline off the rebound.

Drasin goes in for his finisher, the pile driver. Out of the sight of Jean, Strong lands a low blow. Strong executes his own pile driver for the win.

Time: 21:00

Match 5-

DUSTY RHODES/ NELSON ROYAL/ EDDIE GRAHAM defeat THE ASSASSIN/ MISSOURI MAULER/ GORGEOUS JIMMY GARVIN

Garvin shows off several times in this match while trying to best Royal. While playing to the crowd, Royal gets in several two counts. Mauler and Assassin set him straight and the heels dominate against Graham.

Later in the match, Royal and Graham are on the floor fighting with Mauler and Garvin.
The Assassin has loaded his mask and is Irish whipping Dusty against the ropes. Garvin tries to trip Rhodes. Rhodes has reversed the whip and the trip takes down The Assassin. Rhodes takes the metal out of the mask and puts it in his elbow pad. He uses the enhanced bionic elbow to daze the masked man. One bulldog later, the faces get the win.

Time: 22:29

Match 6-

SOUTHERN TITLE MATCH
AUSTIN IDOL defeats THE SPOILER w/ BUDDY COLT

Buddy Colt accompanies The Spoiler to the ring for this match against Idol. Colt constantly taunts Idol with comments about the Shane situation. Idol looses his cool and Spoiler takes advantage. He goes down to the floor and draws crimson with a smash to the post. A rear chin lock by Spoiler on Idol wears down the champ.

Later, Idol rallies and has Spoiler trapped in the rope. He is raining down rights and lefts and has busted Spoiler open. Jean manages to free the masked man but the damage has been done. A belly-to-belly suplex puts The Spoiler down and Idol goes for the Las Vegas Leglock.

Colt jumps on the apron and tries to taunt Idol. Idol releases the hold and goes after Colt. Jean tries to break them up. Spoiler adjusts his glove for the claw. He charges Idol, who runs him into the manager. Idol slips behind Spoiler and schoolboys him for the pin.

The second third and forth matches sure seemed to have a real Arizona feel to them and they might have even been something I booked while there.

Idol over the Spoiler is a great match and every time out, there is something better about it. Great work
