Renner, “Dominic, you surprised us all by bringing the ‘Bay Area Legend’ back. Ray, welcome back.”
 
Stevens, “Thanks Hank. It’s good to be back, but we still have some unfinished business. We didn’t get enough of the Von Steigers. Dom and I want them again!”
 
DeNucci, “That’s right, Mr. Shire, put us back in the ring with them.”
 
Renner, “I’m sure the matchmakers will get to work on this.”
 
Match #1
Dominic DeNucci and Ray Stevens def. Johnny Karisma and Jerry Monti (5:34) Stevens w/piledriver vs. Karisma
 
Renner is with Jerry Brisco and Kevin Sullivan.
 

 

 
Renner, “Gentlemen, we have an unusual situation. You two are tag team partners tonight, but on July 28, you meet for the World Jr. Heavyweight Title.”
 
Brisco, “I was surprised we were scheduled like this, but it’s O.K. I know Kevin is a fine young wrestler. It’s my pleasure to team with him. I’m just not going to give away any of my secrets.”
 
Brisco laughs.
 
Sullivan, “I have so much respect for Jerry. Tonight we are on the same side, but at the Cow Palace, we are going to compete for the title. I can’t wait.”
 
Renner, “Today, you meet Dr. Hiro Ota and a newcomer called ‘El Gaucho’.”
 
Sullivan, “I know that Ota is devious. I don’t know anything about El Gaucho, but Jerry and are ready.”
 
Renner, “Today’s feature match, Jerry Brisco and Kevin Sullivan vs. Dr. Hiro Ota and El Gaucho.”
 
Match #2
Alexis Smirnoff def. Takashi Onoume (4:02) w/Russian neckbreaker
 
Renner is with J.C. Dykes, Ben Justice and the Royal Kangaroos.
 
Renner, “Mr. Dykes, your men are very busy. At the big show at the Cow Palace, the Royal Kangaroos will challenge the Andersons for the World Tag Team Titles and Ben Justice will meet Bruno Sammartino for the Pacific Coast Title.”
 
Dykes, “It will be a glorious night for J.C. Dykes. The Kangaroos have a tough task, we do not diminish the skills of these men. They are great wrestlers, but Lord Jonathan Boyd and Norman Frederick Charles III are better. They will win the World Titles. Now for this man, Ben Justice, he is poised for greatness. He has been overlooked by this promotion for too long. Now he meets that fraud Bruno Sammartino. What a joke. He was big news 10 years ago. Now he is a washed up pizza maker trying to relive past glories. He may have that belt, but it will be ours in a very short period of time!”
 
Justice, “I pinned Sammartino in Oakland! Now I’ll do it for the title, at the Cow Palace! HAHAHAHA!”
 
Renner, “Yes, you pinned him, with a piece of metal.”
 
Justice, “Shut up Renner! I will be the Champion!”

Martin is with Pepper Gomez.
 

 
Martin, “Pepper, you have entered the single’s ranks.”
 
Gomez, “Yes, I have. Haystacks has decided to pursue other things and I want to stay here and take on the best competition.”
 
Martin, “You’ve started with the masked newcomer Texas Red. He got the better of you last week. It was a great match.”
 
Gomez, “He is good. He did beat me, but I had my chances. Now I get him again at the Cow Palace. Texas Red, I’ll be ready. You are good, but Pepper Gomez is no pushover!”
 
Match #4
Pepper Gomez def. the Masked Avenger (5:39) w/kneedrop
 
Renner is with Bruno Sammartino.
 
Renner, “Bruno, on the 28th, it’s you and Justice at the Cow Palace. He used a foreign object to bloody you in Oakalnd.”
 
We see highlights of the eight man match. Justice uses a foreign object to bloody Bruno.”
 
Sammartino, “That loudmouth was out here running me down. Well, I don’t care what he says. I’m not wasting my time with words. He and Dykes talk a lot and I won’t overlook Justice, but I’m not arguing with him. I’m going out to the ring in San Francisco and do what I’ve done for 15 years and that’s wrestle. Justice, you better be training hard, because I am!”
 
Renner, “On Saturday night, July 28, Sammartino vs. Justice.”
 
Match #5
Kevin Sullivan and Jerry Brisco def. El Gaucho and Dr. Hiro Ota (5:34) Sullivan w/rollup vs. Ota
 
After the match El Gaucho and Dr. Ota attack Sullivan. Brisco watches and then leaves the ring without helping Sullivan. El Gaucho removes his mask to reveal Colosso Colosetti. He and Ota drape Sullivan’s leg over the bottom rope and jump on it several times. The show ends with Sullivan writhing in the ring.
 

I know Brisco must have a reason for this seemingly dastardly move.
 
I can't wait for Sammartino vs. Justice.
 
Gomez and Texas Red should be great.
 
DeNucci and Stevens are a good looking team.
 
Great show.
