 "Welcome to Saturday Night Wrestling. My name is Bill Mercer and we have a great show for you this evening. Tonight, you will see a number of new faces debut here in World Class Championship Wrestling, plus many of your old favorites. In action tonight will see Kevin Von Erich and Scott Casey as they face Reno Tuufuli and Ron Sexton, newcomer Toru Tanaka meets Carlos Mata, another newcomer Haystacks Calhoun will meet Kim Duk, and in our main event, Texas Heavyweight Champion Ernie Ladd will face a mystery challenger who has answered Ladd’s open challenge.  
 
As you are aware, Ivan Putski suffered a serious injury in his match against Ernie Ladd a few weeks ago, and doctors’ reports indicate that he will be out of action for some time. Needing a new partner to take the place of the injured Putski, Cowboy Scott Casey has turned to young Kevin Von Erich. Joining us now are Scott Casey and Kevin Von Erich.

Kevin Von Erich “I am honored that Scott Casey has asked me to join him as a tag-team partner. Cowboy Scott Casey is one of the most respected wrestlers in the area and I know I am going to learn a lot from him.  
 
Scott Casey “Skandar Akbar, we are putting you on notice. The team of Scott Casey and Kevin Von Erich is aiming for the Texas Tag-Team titles. We’ve seen first hand the destruction that Masa Saito and Mr. Fuji have caused in this area. For the fans of World Class Championship Wrestling, we will put an end to their reign of terror!  
 
 Bill Mercer: “Scott Casey and Kevin Von Erich have wasted no time in setting their sights on title gold. They start their climb up the championship ladder tonight as they meet Reno Tuufuli and Ron Sexton.

 Skandar Akbar: "Tor Kamata failed in his attempt to overthrow the infidels. Tor Kamata has therefore been banished from professional wrestling. I will not tolerate failure in my ranks. If you cannot defeat the weak Americans you do not deserve to associate with me. Tor Kamata has been exiled, in his place is a man more powerful, more dangerous, more vicious than Tor Kamata. That man is Professor Toru Tanaka! This man has caused devastation all over the world. He will cause the destruction of Fritz Von Erich. As for Scott Casey and Kevin Von Erich, I laugh at the thought that those two weak infidels can challenge my men. You will be destroyed like the rest of the weak Americans.
 
 Bill Mercer: “Skandar Akbar has a new addition to his army of foreign mercenaries. That new addition, Toru Tanaka, is in action in our next contest.

Haystacks Calhoun “ It’s great to be down here in Texas wrestling for World Class. I know there’s some tough old boys here and some of the best wrestling our sport has to offer. I ain’t scared of no one and ain’t scared of taking on a challenge. I know I have a tough match tonight against Kim Duk and it’ll be just the first of many tough matches. One thing you’re going to learn is that this old country boy is always ready for a fight.  
 
Bill Mercer: "Haystacks Calhoun has won titles all over the world, most recently holding one-half of the Pacific Coast Tag-Team titles, and he is now part of World Class Championship Wrestling! He has a tough debut as he meets the dangerous Kim Duk.

Bill Mercer: “At our big show in Austin, Ernie Ladd defeated Rocky Johnson to retain the Texas Heavyweight Championship. I regret to report that Rocky Johnson has decided to leave the area. Ernie Ladd wasted no time taking credit for Johnson’s departure, and in fact, we have learned that Ernie Ladd sent correspondence to the NWA national office and all the promotions of the NWA asking for a new challenger to brought in, one who, in Ladd’s own words, “is not a big dummy and can actually take a punch or two!.” Ernie Ladd, the Texas Heavyweight Champion, is standing in the middle ring. Let’s hear from the camp.
 
Ernie Ladd and Gary Hart are in the middle of the ring. Ladd grabs the house mic to address the audience ---
 
Ernie Ladd “I had Gary Hart send a letter to every promotion in the NWA, begging the promoters to find someone who can challenge me. I beat up on that old dummy Rocky Johnson, and now he’s hiding as far away from here as possible. Like we wrote in the letter, I am the biggest, baddest, meanest man in all of professional wrestling. There is no one who is even close to me. If you think you can step in the ring with me, you’re nothing but a big dummy.    
 
Gary Hart “I have received notification that one wrestler has responded to our open challenge. What kind of idiot thinks they are man enough to step into the ring with Ernie Ladd? I suspect we are dealing with someone who may be mentally insane. For anyone in their right mind would know better than to mess with Ernie Ladd. Whoever you are, come down here, so we can start the match and you can get your beating.

Match #4 (non-title bout)  
Texas Heavyweight Champion Ernie Ladd w/ Gary Hart battles   Bruiser Brody to a double countout in a wild match that spends very little time in the ring. (10:56) Brody matches Ladd in the strength department, not letting the Texas Champ push him around. In fact, Brody has Ladd in trouble when security finally comes to ringside to attempt to restore.
 
 Bill Mercer: " Bruiser Brody has answered the challenge from Ernie Ladd and is back in World Class!!! We’ll have an opportunity to speak with Brody next week. I want to remind all our great fans in Waco that we have a big show this Sunday evening. Until next week…
