 "Welcome to Saturday Night Wrestling. My name is Bill Mercer and we have a great show for you this evening. Tonight, you will see a newcomer to World Class, Benny Mendibles in action, Fritz Von Erich defends his American Heavyweight Title in a rare television match, Pez Whatley brings in his new partner to battle Mexican Angel and Magnificent Zulu, and in our huge main event, Kevin Von Erich meets Masa Saito.
 
Last week, on this very program, we saw one of the biggest returns in the history of this promotion: Bruiser Brody is back in World Class Championship Wrestling. Brody is a former WWWF Heavyweight Champion, he has held titles all over the world, and in considered one of the most dangerous men in the sport. What brought him back to Texas? We’ll find out as he joins us in the interview area.

Bruiser Brody “I’ve known Ernie Ladd for a long time. I’ve never liked him. Every where I go, I hear Ladd bragging how he’s the meanest, baddest man in wrestling. You’re wrong! You’re looking at the meanest, baddest man in wrestling. I won’t leave this promotion until I’ve ended your career. This isn’t about the fans. This is about proving who’s the toughest man in wrestling. You’ve met your match Ladd.  It's time for you to watch your back! I won't stop till I end your career. Argggg!
 
 Bill Mercer: “Brody has set his sights squarely on Ernie Ladd. In our first match, we will see a newcomer to World Class, Benny Mendibles. He may lack in size, but he sure doesn’t lack in toughness. He’s a legend in the Southwestern part of the United States, and is looking to make his mark in World Class Championship Wrestling.

Bill Mercer: "Last week, Skandar Akbar unveiled a new challenger to Fritz Von Erich, the evil professor Toru Tanaka. Here to talk about his newest challenger is American Heavyweight Champion Fritz Von Erich.

 Fritz Von Erich: "Skandar Akbar needs to understand that it doesn’t matter what sort of goon he brings in: he’s not going to take this title. Tor Kamata was suppose to be an unbeatable monster. I ran him out of this promotion and I’ll do the same to Toru Tanaka. Tanaka may be have a reputation as one of the most vicious men in the business. He don’t scare me and won’t be getting this AMERICAN heavyweight championship.
 
 Bill Mercer: “Fritz is ready for the challenge from Toru Tanaka. The champion is in action in our next contest.

Bill Mercer: “One of the biggest men in wrestling, Haystacks Calhoun, made his debut on last week’s program. One of our veteran wrestlers took an exception to his arrival. Joining us now is Al Madril.
 
Al Madril arrives at the interview center ---
  
Al Madril “ I thought this was the home to professional wrestling, not some circus freak show. That’s all Haystacks Calhoun is, nothing but a big, oversized freak. He doesn’t deserve to be in the same building as a great professional wrestler like myself. This ain’t the carnival son, this is a rough and tumble sport. You think you have what it takes to step in the ring with real wrestlers? You’re wrong. Get back to the freak show as soon as you can.
 
Bill Mercer: "Al Madril has some very harsh words for Haystacks Calhoun. Pistol Pez Whatley has been left without a partner since Rocky Johnson left the promotion. That didn’t last long, though, as Pistol Pez has brought in a newcomer to World Class to serve as his new partner. In our next match you will see Pistol Pez Whatley and former NFL player George Wells as they have a tough match against Mexican Angel and Magnificent Zulu.

Pistol Pez Whatley & George Wells defeat Mexican Angel & Magnificent Zulu via pinfall when Wells lands a powerslam on Zulu and covers for the pin. (9:16)

Bill Mercer: “Skandar Akbar has a lot on his plate lately. He is attempting to guide Toru Tanaka to the American Heavyweight Title while holding off a challenge to the Texas Tag-Team titles from Scott Casey and Kevin Von Erich. Joining us now is Skandar Akbar and his band of foreign mercenaries.  
 
Skandar Akbar, Texas Tag Team Champions Mr. Fuji and Masa Saito, and Toru Tanaka arrrive at the interview center---
 
Skandar Akbar “The infidel conspiracy to keep my men down will soon fail. Professor Toru Tanaka has destroyed men all over the world. The infidel Fritz Von Erich will be no different. It is simply a matter of time before we take the American Heavyweight Title and put it around the waist of a true champion. As for Von Erich and Casey, tonight, Masa Saito will give Kevin Von Erich the beating of his life. Kevin thinks he has what it takes to challenge Saito. Kevin is dumber than he looks. The uprising is nearing completion as the infidels will be toppled.  
 
Bill Mercer: “It’s time for our huge main event as Kevin Von Erich hopes to show Masa Saito and Mr. Fuji that he and Scott Casey are legitimate contenders for title gold. Let’s go the ring.
 
Match #4  
Kevin Von Erich defeats   Masa Saito w/ Skandar Akbar via pinfall. (15:41) Late in the match, the referee is accidentally knocked unconscious. Mr. Fuji comes to ringside to attempt to interfere but Scott Casey runs to the ring and cleans house, chasing away both Fuji and Akbar with a steel chair. This distraction allows Kevin to surprise Saito with a flying body press and pinfall for the victory!  
 
 Bill Mercer: " Kevin Von Erich has sent a message to Akbar and his men with his huge victory over Masa Saito. A reminder to all our great fans in Oklahoma City that we will have a big show Sunday, July 22. Until next time…

Scott Casey defeated Texas Heavyweight Champion Ernie Ladd w/ Gary Hart via disqualification when Gary Hart interjected himself into the match, leading to a two on one attack. (21:19) This continued until Bruiser Brody hit the ring to make the save.
