Tom Bender: "Welcome from the County Coliseum in El Paso ladies and gentlemen, I'm Tom Bender and joining me is a longtime voice of Texas wrestling, Gene Goodison, as the Pan-American Wrestling Council presents Championship Wrestling from El Paso. And Gene, we have three big time matches lined up for this weeks card, plus some very interesting interviews.
Gene: "Tom, let me join you in saying 'welcome' to wrestling fans from both sides of the border! On this weeks program the Brass Knux Champion, the notorious dirty fighter, Flama Roja will face justice when he comes across the Lawman, Don Slatton . . . The Bad Boy of Professional Wrestling is what they call him, Jody Arnold teams with the strongman Crusher Cortez to rassle the popular Juan Limon and Raul Matta, we will have interviews you won't wasn't to miss from the patriarch of El Paso wrestling, Gori Guererro, the pugilist Alex Perez will be here with a special challenge for Flama Roja, and the Great Mephisto and his charge, The Pharaoh, will have a special message for all the wrestlers and their fans who follow them in the Pan-American Wrestling Council!

Gene: "And now its my pleasure to introduce everyone to a very familar face, please give a big El Paso welcome to the Chairman of the Pan-American Wrestling Council and also the Spanish language commentator for Championship Wrestling, the legendary GORI GUERERRO!!!
The fans all cheer and applaud Gori!
Gene: "Now Gori, I understand that you have some big announcements for all the fans in the El Paso-Juarez area.
Gori: "Thats right Gene, and first I would like to thank all these great fans for being here today. Theres great fans all over the National Wrestling Alliance. You have great fans in cities like St. Louis . . . Florida . . . Amarillo . . . all over the NWA, but all the wrestlers I speak to know, the most passionate, loyal, AND knowledgeable fans are right here in the Sun Valley!
"I do have a very big announcement. For years, the El Paso-Juarez wrestling territory has always been an affiliate, a stop on the way if you will, for the Amarillo wrestling territory started by a late and great personal friend of mine, Dory Funk, Sr..
"Here in El Paso I and everyone at the office has enjoyed a very cordial and productive personal and business relationship with Dory's sons Terry and Dory, Jr. and the Amarillo booking office. But, for years, El Paso has had to rely on the Amarillo office and other NWA promotions for talent for shows in the El Paso-Juarez area, especially when it comes to arranging appearances for title defenses by the NWA world champions. They have always been accommodating, and I thank them for that.
"However, from this point forward, the El Paso-Juarez wrestling office controls its own destiny. I am pleased to announce that the Pan-American Wrestling Council has been admitted into the National Wrestling Alliance as a full member, with its OWN roster of wrestlers, and its OWN championships. And this means many things, Gene.
"One, we have the NWA World Six-man tag team Champions, Los Villanos in the area. They have agreed to bring their titles from Mexico City, curtail some of their roughhouse tactics, and defend them right here in Pan-American Wrestling. A man you will see later in this hour, Flama Roja, has signed with Pan-American Wrestling, and will be bringing with him the World Brass Knux championship, a title he won in a death match tournament in Singapore, and Don Carson, the NWA Gulf Coast Heavyweight Champion is also on the roster, and has agreed to a series of title defenses right here in the El Paso area.
"But the title I am most excited about is the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship, held by Jerry Brisco. Because we are now a full fledged NWA member, I can pick up the phone myself and book Jerry Brisco to defend the NWA World Jr Heavyweight title against the NWA number one contender anytime I please.
"Now, on that topic, we also have other top talent in the region, besides some of the wrestlers you will see today, but also Gran Hamada, Alfonse Dantes and Javier LLanes, Doctor Ferris, Ken Lucas, Tiger Conway Jr, the Rogers Brothers and the The Masked Wrestling Pro are also now in El Paso.
"But the one man I am most pleased to see in El Paso is the Number One Contender for the NWA World Jr. heavyweight title, the legendary Blue Demon. Gene, the Blue Demon was so excited to hear about our full-fledged NWA membership that he has agreed to schedule his movie shootings around Pan-American Wrestling schedule, and will be here on next weeks television show with a special challenge for ALL the wrestlers in the El Paso area, next week right here on Championship Wrestling!
Gene: "Well! Gori Guererro, it would appear that the El Paso and Juarez rasslin scenes have HIT THE BIG TIME! Thank you for your time today, and I look forward to meeting Blue Demon and speaking to you next week!

WORLD BRASS KNUX CHAMPIONSHIP
FLAMA ROJA V LAWMAN DON SLATTON Slatton is in the ring when HERE COMES FLAMA ROJA!!! Roja waves off and curses the crowd and then flies into the ring, and POUNDS ON SLATTON!!! Roja uses kicks, stomps and eye gouges to quickly overwhelm the Lawman, but the Lawman won't be stopped, and makes the comeback, fighting fire with fire, and the two men battle it out in the ring, duking it out!!!
Tom: "WHAT AN AFFAIR!!!
Gene: "Its the Brass Knux championship, Tom, THERE ARE NO RULES, ANYTHING GOES, ITS THE TOUGHEST CHAMPIONSHIP IN THE WORLD!!!
Slatton looks like he has Roja handled, and about to take his title, when ROJA VICIOUSLY DIGS HIS FINGERS INTO SLATTONS EYES!!!! Roja sadistically rubs the temporarily blinded Slattons eyes up and down the top rope, and Slatton is quickly a bloody mess, and then Roja neutralizes Slatton with an illegal choke, its no DQ, and slowly The Lawman does not find justice and is choked out for the KO at 9:23!!!!

Tom: "MY GOODNESS, WHAT BRUTALITY, FOLKS, and there you see him Flama Roja holding up that Brass Knux title and trading insults with these great fans, Flama Roja is just RUTHLESS, his reputation proceeds him here in Pan-American Wrestling! El Faraon, the Pharaoh, is wearing a full headdress, looking towards the sky, as two slave girls fan him!
Mephisto: "BE-HOOOOOOOLD the great and mighty Pharaoh, why, NOT ONE SINGLE ONE of you watching this do not even DESERVE TO LAY EYES on this man, so I COMMAND YOU, I BESEECH ALL OF YOU SUBJECTS TO TURN YOUR EYES AWAY from your television sets AND DO NOT DARE GAZE AT THE PHAROAH in all his glory and majesty as you listen to MY SACRED WORDS!!!!
"Next week on this very television program the Great and Mighty Pharaoh, ruler of the Nile and all of Wrestling, will LOWER himself to step inside the ring with a MERE MORTAL, a lowly Indian by the name of RINGO MENDOZA!!!
"Well, Ringo Mendoza, IF, and only if, you are wise and KOWTOW AND CRAWL, AND BEG, AND PLEAD ON YOUR HANDS AND KNEES TO THE MIGHTY PHARAOH FOR MERCY will you be SPARED HIS ETERNAL WRATH, IN THE RING, NEXT WEEK!!!!
(The Pharaoh looks towards the camera, and as it pans to him, he lifts one eyebrow)

Gene: "Well, a few minutes ago we saw the World Brass Knux champion, Flama Roja, and now joining me is a fellow under consideration as a top challenger to Roja August 6 in Juarez, former boxer Jose Alex Perez. Jose, I understand that you have something in mind for us the next two weeks.
Jose: "That is right, Senor Goodison, I feel that I have what it takes to beat this Flama Roja in the ring and knock him out for the Brass Knux title. I am a former professional boxer, and now successful professional wrestler. Next week here on Championship Wrestling, I will box a three round exhibition against a local boxer, and then in two weeks I will wrestle a match, in the ring one on one with Beauregarde. When the promoters see what I am capable as both a boxer and a professional wrestler I am certain they will see fit to award me with this match for the Brass Knux title against Flama Roja.
Gene: "Jose I know that you have just gone through a bit of a rough patch while in Amarillo, but perhaps with your boxing skills, the rougher style of wrestling here in El Paso is just what the doctor ordered for your career. Good luck next week in the boxing match, in two weeks in the wrestling match with Beauregarde, and who knows??? the Brass Knux match with Flama Roja. Tom, lets go back to you.

JODY ARNOLD & CRUSHER CORTEZ V JUAN LIMON & RAUL MATTA Gene: "Tom, what a great tag team match we have in store for the fans here. Jody Arnold has already made some noise about challenging the legendary Blue Demon for the number one contendership for the NWA World Jr Heavyweight title . . . . but take a look at Crusher Cortez . . . looks at the arms on this fellow!
Its Limon and Matta that are the stars of the show, as the heels feed them, but in the end, its Jody Arnold with an incredible slingshot suplex on Matta and a tag to Cortez who nails Matta with a nasty elbow to the head then a swinging neckbreaker as Arnold and Limon brawl, this match is over at 8:04!

Gene: "Congratulations on the victory gentlemen . . but Jody Arnold, I have to ask you . . . .I've heard a lot of talk . . . . are you indeed challenging the Blue Demon?
Jody: "Gene Goodison, I want everyone watching this right now to listen while I tell you and everyone watching in TV-land how its gonna be.
"What you people are looking at right now is the most finely tuned well oiled machine in wrestling today. I mean, come on Gene, you just saw what Yours Truly and the Crusher did to those two cats, right? Well, the bottom line is its, like it or not, the Bad Boy of Professional Wrestling Jody Arnold is in El Paso, with the Crusher watching his back, and he is here to take what is his.
"Blue Demon, you claim to be some sort of a legend? A big movie star? Well, Blue Demon, you had a good run, but all the moviegoers, all these women, are looking for a NEW matinee idol, and with my good looks, and my charisma, I'm the man that is gonna replace you!
"If you got the guts, put your number one contendership on the line-----because the bottom line is this, Blue Demon, once I beat you, and then take that World Jr Heavyweight title off Jerry Brisco, I'M the one who is gonna go to Hollywood and YOU are the one who is gonna be sitting at home looking through old photo albums, and when my movies come out, people are going to forget ALLLL about the Blue Demon, AND YOU CAN CASH THAT CHECK RIGHT AT THE BANK! OOOOOOWWW, BABY!!!!
