Opening Match, one fall, 20 minutes
Mr. X vs. Sam Steamboat

This is a scientific encounter. They go back and forth with Steamboat winning with a flying bodypress.
Winner-Sam Steamboat (15:23)

Second Match, one fall, 20 minutes
Dory Dixon vs. Johnny Kharisma

The veteran from the Caribbean is very sharp. Karisma pulls out all the dirty tricks, but Dixon is too much. He headbutts Karisma and covers him for the win.
Winner-Dory Dixon (13:42)

Third Match, one fall, 20 minutes
Pepper Gomez vs. Robert Toronto

Gomez has been locked in a feud with Texas Red. The youngster from Samoa will be a good test tonight. Toronto holds his own for a while, but Gomez takes over. He outwrestles Toronto and wins with the knee drop.
Winner-Pepper Gomez (13:58)

Fourth Match, one fall, 45 minutes
Texas Red vs. Earl Maynard

Red attacks Maynard before the bell. He works over Earl and it looks like it could end early. Maynard rallies and matches rights and left with the masked man. Red takes to the floor to regroup. He returns and the match continues. Red goes to the roughhouse tactics and Maynard returns the favor. The match becomes very hard-hitting. Maynard goes for the full Nelson, but Red escapes. He whips Maynard into the ropes and lands the high crossbody. The official counts the fall. Texas Red scores a hard-fought victory.
Winner-Texas Red (19:42)

Semi-Final, one fall, 60 minutes
Kevin Sullivan vs. Colosso Colosetti w/Saul Weingeroff

Colosso put on a mask to attack Sullivan on “NWA Big Time Wrestling”. You know that the young man from Boston will be out for revenge. Sullivan charges at the Argentine when the bell rings. Colosetti takes to the floor to escape. Sullivan follows and the match starts on the floor. Sullivan works over Colosetti and whips him into the ringside barricade. He then tosses Colosetti into the ring. As Sullivan tries to enter the ring, Weingeroff distracts him. This allows Colosetti to regroup and blindside Kevin. Colosso slams Sullivan’s head into the turnbuckle. The tide has turned. Colosetti dominates the next several minutes. The crowd gets behind Sullivan and he makes a comeback. He catches Colosetti with a sunset flip and gets the fall. Colosetti and Weingeroff are outraged.
Winner-Kevin Sullivan (23:18)

Main Event, Two out of Three Falls, 60 minutes
Pacific Coast Tag Team Championship
The Royal Kangaroos (Champions) w/J.C. Dykes vs. Tony Garea and Dean Ho

First Fall-Garea and Ho are ready for this opportunity. Tony starts out against Charles and it’s all Garea. He tags in Ho and Dean continues to work over Norman. Boyd runs in and it’s a pier six brawl. The official gets things sorted out and the match continues. Garea and Ho continue their dominance and Tony wraps Charles in the abdominal stretch and the Challengers win the first fall.
Winners-Tony Garea and Dean Ho (13:52)

Second Fall-
We could see new tag team champions. Garea and Ho are ready. Dykes and his men will have to pull out all stops. The early moments belong to the Challengers. The crowd is going crazy. They want to see the Australians lose the belts. Ho catches Boyd in the full Nelson. This could be it! Charles runs in and breaks the hold. This brings Garea in and we have a four man brawl. The official escorts Garea to the corner and this allows the Royal Kangaroos to land a double gutbuster on Ho. Charles covers him and the official counts the fall. It’s 1-1.
Winners-Royal Kangaroos (12:09)

Third Fall-
This is for all the marbles. Garea and Charles begin the fall. Tony is still hurting from the second fall and Charles takes advantage. He corners Tony and tags in Lord Jonathan Boyd. He puts the boots to Garea. Tony is in trouble, but he escapes and tags in the Hawaiian. Ho cleans house. The rest of the fall gets wilder and wilder. Finally the official cannot control the action and calls for the bell. He disqualifies both teams.
Result-Double Count (11:46)

Thanks. The venues that Shire ran were very interesting. Sacramento, San Jose and Stockton were "auditoriums", with balconies, and were concert venue type structures rather than arenas or gyms.

Here's a picture of the inside of the Stockton Auditorium.
