NACW 7/23/77-7/24/77
Jul 22nd, 2007, 10:10pm

7/23/77 Anchorage,Alaska

Terry Gordy-Hector Lamas lose to Michael Hayes-Jerry Estrada, with Hiro Matsuda.

Roger Kirby-Genichiro Tenyru, with Lord Alfred Hays pin Los Brazos

Sonny King is pinned by Perro Aguayo

Chavo Guerrero vs Don Muraco.
another vicious bloodbath. Muraco eventually rolls him up for a pinfall.

Marc Rocco-Jim Breaks-Lord Alfred Hays vs Nick Bockwinkel-Dick the Bruiser-the Crusher.
one wild six-man...Breaks goes after the Crusher's legs. he does all he can to get him down. Bruiser and Bockwinkel do all they can to help him. tag!! Bockwinkle goes after Breaks with flying forearms. he doesn't stop. the AWA champ dishes it all out. Hays comes in for a short time but tags out to Rocco when trouble starts for him. Brusier tags in and goes to stomp all three opponents.
after 18 minutes though, the British Army is in trouble. in the end,. Hays is pinned by the Bruiser.

NORTH AMERICAN HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: Billy Anderson vs Roger Kirby.
the champ makes an easy win against Kirby. Anderson uses the cobra clutch for the win.

Terry Gordy-Genichiro Tenyru, with Lord Alfred Hays defeat Los Brazos-Perro Aguayo

Sonny King pins Michael Hayes

Mark Rocco-Jim Breaks, with Lord Alfred Hays vs Billy Anderson-Don Muraco.
tough match here. Hays did very little. in the end, Rocco pins Anderson for the victory.

AWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: Nick Bockwinkel vs Chavo Guerrero.
no rules now. Chavo takes it and makes Bockwinkle break rules. he is full of anger. Bockwinkle has to survive. the crowd is so against Chavo. his anger gets the best of him. he makes mistakes. Bockwinkle takes advantage of his bad timing and ducks as Chavo jumps at him in the ropes. he crotches himself on the ropes. Bockwinkle quickly covers him for the pin.

Hays needs to keep is nose clean and not mess around with the success of his men Rocco and Breaks. By taking down Anderson and Muraco, they have shown they can handle any tag team in NACW. Too bad Judo Al had to cost them against the tops in the AWA. Breaks and Rocco could have taken the match as a handicaper...

Chavo has to keep his temper in check. It cost him against Bock and he may not get the title shots he deserves if he can't cool his jets...

Matsuda fits right in as a mentor.

I loved the sucessful title defense by Anderson.

I agree with Dream. Rocco and Breaks are double tough on their own
