Taped 7/26/77 Renner opens the show with Kevin Sullivan.
Renner, “What we saw last week was terrible. Let’s look at the actions of both Colosso Colosetti and Jerry Brisco.”
We see the end of the tag team match. Brisco and Sullivan defeat Dr. Hiro Ota and “El Gaucho”. Ota and El Gaucho attack Sullivan. Brisco leaves the ring and El Gaucho unmasks to reveal Colosso Colosetti.
Renner, “Kevin, what Colosetti and Brisco did was despicable.”
Sullivan, “I expect that out of Colosetti. He still can’t stand the fact that I beat him. I’m disappointed in Brisco, but I guess the World Title is worth deserting a partner for. I know one thing, Brisco, I’m ready for tonight! I’m young and maybe I had the wool pulled over my eyes, but no more! I’m going to give you the match of your life!”
Renner, “Tonight, at the Cow Palace, Kevin Sullivan challenges Jerry Brisco for the NWA World Jr. Heavyweight Title.”
Match #1
Kevin Sullivan def. Guy Lambert (5:57) w/sunset flip Martin is with Texas Red.
Martin, “Red, you meet Pepper Gomez at the Cow Palace.”
Red, “He’s become a thorn in my side. I’ve beaten him, but he won’t go away. I told everyone when I got here, that I didn’t care who I wrestled and I don’t care if the fans cheer or boo me. I want to move up the rankings and I have to dispose of that Mexican jumping bean first. I’ll do that in Daly City.”
Marin, “I think you may be taking Pepper Gomez too lightly.”

Texas Red def. Takashi Onouome (6:02) w/high crossbody Renner is with J.C. Dykes, Ben Justice and the Royal Kangaroos.
Renner, “Mr. Dykes, you will be quite busy at the Cow Palace. Ben Justice challenges Bruno Sammartino for the Pacific Coast belt and the Royal Kangaroos meet the World Tag Team Champions the Andersons.”
Dykes, “What a glorious night it will be for my men and myself. Ben Justice will dispose of that pizza-maker and the Royal Kangaroos will prove they are the greatest tag team in the world by defeating the Anderson Brothers.”
Renner, “I don’t think it will be that easy. Let’s look at this taped interview from Bruno Sammartino.”
We see Bruno standing in front of the ring.
Bruno, “Justice, you cost me the World Title. I still want a shot at that belt. Terry Funk will come back to California, but until he does, I will deal with you. You stuck your nose in where it didn’t belong and I’m going to teach you a lesson.”
Justice, “Listen to that old man. He won that belt from another tired old man. That belt should be worn by young stallion like myself, not a tired old nag. Sammartino, tonight is your last night as Champion. HAHAHAHA!”

The Royal Kangaroos w/J.C. Dykes (Pacific Coast Tag Team Champions) def. Mr. X and Ati Tago (6:49) Boyd w/boomerang vs. Tago Renner is with Pepper Gomez.
Renner, “Pepper, you heard Texas Red.”
Gomez, “Yes I did. He is tough, but he has a big mouth. We’ve met before and he has beaten me, but I’ve got in my licks too. This time, I’m ready to take that masked man down. He is good, but I’m ready and the fans will be behind me. Texas Red, let’s get it on!”

Pepper Gomez def. Jerry Monti (5:38) w/kneedrop Martin is with the Von Steiger Brothers.
Martin, “Gentlemen, you have started quite a rivalry with Dominic DeNucci and Ray Stevens.
Kurt VS, “A weak American and a weak Italian, they are no match for two men like my brother and I. We will continue to dominate them and then we will move onto better competition.”
Martin, “Better than Ray and Dominic? I’m not sure about that.”
Karl VS, “You heard my brother. You are another stupid American. The greatness of the Von Steigers and the German way of living will be evident when we meet those two again!”

The Von Steigers def. Steve Rickard and the Avenger (6:40) Kurt Von Steiger w/German claw vs. Avenger Von Steiger refuses to break the hold. Dominic DeNucci and Ray Stevens hit the ring and they brawl with the Von Steigers. The Germans end up on the floor. Stevens grabs the ring mic from Martin, “Von Steigers, why don’t you try that with us! Next week, you get in the ring with us, on T.V!” The Von Steigers try to beg off until Roy Shire comes to the announce desk. He takes the mic, “That sounds good to me. Next week, DeNucci and Stevens vs. the Von Steigers!”
