Takashi Onoume vs. Sam Steamboat The veteran Steamboat has returned to Hawaii and the Blasidell crowd is solidly behind him. The match is a scientific encounter and Steamboat wins with a flying bodypress.

Second Match, one fall, 20 minutes
Bill Francis vs. Dr. Hiro Ota Francis is the son of famous Hawaiian wrestler and promoter, Ed Francis. The devious Ota will be a stiff test. The early moments belong to Francis, as he uses his wrestling skill to tie Ota in knots. Ota makes a comeback, but Francis rallies. Ota turns Francis away from the official and lands a karate thrust to the throat. He covers Bill for the win.

Third Match, one fall, 20 minutes
Robert Toronto vs. Steve Rickard The veteran from New Zealand takes on the tough man from Samoa. Toronto uses some roughhouse tactics, but Rickard retaliates and wins with the sleeper.

Fourth Match, one fall, 30 minutes
Superfly Tui vs. Waldo Von Erich The vicious German attacks Tui before the bell. Von Erich is unstoppable. He pounds Superfly from pillar to post and wins with a kneedrop from the top rope.

Fifth Match, one fall, 45 minutes
Handicap Match
Andre the Giant vs. Johnny Karisma and Mr. X X and Karisma attack the Giant. They get a brief advantage. The Giant recovers and toys with both men. He lands the big splash against both men for the win.

Sixth Match, one fall, 60 minutes
The Destroyer vs. Don Leo Jonathan These two men met in the Semi-Finals of the Hawaii Title tournament. It was a great match with Jonathan getting the nod. The rematch should be just as good. The two veterans start out cautiously. They do not want to make a mistake. The Destroyer lands a boot to the mid-section and he takes over. The masked man works over Jonathan he whips him into the ropes and clamps on the sleeper. This could be it. Jonathan gets to the ropes and the hold is broken. The match continues to go back and forth. Jonathan gets control and ends it with the giant swing.

Hawaii Tag Team Championship
Von Steiger Brothers vs. Wild Samoans The winning team claims the Hawaii Tag Team Titles. Both of these teams are very rough and tumble. Karl Von Steiger begins the match against Afa. Von Steiger backs Afa into the corner and both Germans go to work. Things look bad early, but Afa is able to tag in his brother. Big Sika is able to clean house. The next few minutes belong to the Samoans. Kurt rakes Afa’s eyes to turn the tide. The Germans take over, and its looks bad for the Samoans. All four men end up in the ring. While Afa and Kurt brawl in the corner, Sika Samoan drops Karl and covers him for the win. The Wild Samoans are the Hawaii Tag Team Champions!

Main Event, one fall, 60 minutes
Hawaii Championship
Peter Maivia vs. Ripper Collins Collins shot off his mouth and the High Chief answered the challenge. Maivia waits in the ring as Collins stalls. The bell rings and the “King of the Islands” takes to the floor. He argues with the ringsiders and Maivia gets more and more frustrated. Finally Collins enters the ring and they lock up. The early minutes off the match are all Maivia. The Challenger scores several nearfalls and the Collins is in trouble. Collins is able to go to the illegal tactics and gain the advantage. Collins gets a two count, but Maivia kicks out. Collins goes for the elbow drops, but Maivia rolls out of the way. The brawl continues until both men end up on the arena floor. The referee’s count reaches 20 and both men are counted out.
