Bob:Welcome wrestling fans to another action packed hour of Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling! Boy, do we have a great show in store for you today fans........we will have the NWA World Heavyweight Champion Terry Funk right here live in the studio as he will see action against Bill White. We will also be speaking with the Champion as well. If that wasn't enough our big television main event today is for the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship as Robert Fuller defends against Tully Blanchard w/Johnny Weaver!
David: That's right Bob and it doesn't stop there.......as we will also see Chief Wahoo McDaniel in action as he faces the Cavalier. We will also be hearing from the Masked Superstar a little later about a recent incident that occured in a match between he and Wahoo McDaniel. I am sure Superstar will also have some words for the World Champion as well. Let's get to the ring and our first match!

TV MATCH 1 (Murnich introduces The Masked Russian w/Professor Boris Malenko vs. Frankie Williams. Referee Sonny Fargo) Masked Russian destroys Williams in this one winning with the Hangman's Hold!
Winner: The Masked Russian @4:12 .

Bob: Another victory for this man folks........The Masked Russian!
Malenko: Bob Caudle......this man......The Masked Russian.......is my new monster!! He does exactly what I say with no questions asked! He is tired of all these little, no good, weak American wrestlers! He is looking for a real challenge! (Out comes the Masked Superstar!)
Bob: Whoa....here is the U.S. Heavyweight Champion......the Masked Superstar!! Superstar I believe you had some words recently with your manager and the Masked Russian following a disqualification loss to Wahoo McDaniel, in which the Masked Russian interfered and cost you the match!
Superstar: That is what happened Mr. Caudle......but after some more thought on the matter.....I understand business comes first. I didn't like the fact he interfered in my match as I clearly had McDaniel under control! But, as Professor Malenko has pointed out business is business and I am still the U.S. Heavyweight Champion........and as I have told him........it will not happen again!! Now on to Terry Funk. I know you are here Funk and you can hear me! On August 18th at Victory Stadium in Roanoke, VA I will defeat you for that World Heavyweight Title and there will be no interference.......no outside help.......this will be done on my own!! I am telling you now Professor, I don't want you or the Masked Russian at ringside on this night........because on this night I will beat Terry Funk on my own without you..........or you!!! (Superstar points a finger in the Masked Russian's face!)

TV MATCH 2 (After commercial Murnich is in the ring and introduces Chief Wahoo McDaniel vs. The Cavalier. Referee Tommy Young) Wahoo makes quick work of the masked man, winning with a huge double chop to the forehead!
Winner: Chief Wahoo McDaniel @5:09 .

Bob: Great win there for Chief Wahoo McDaniel fans! Let's take you back fans to a NWA World Heavyweight Championship Match.......

Terry Funk vs. U.S. Heavyweight Champion Masked Superstar w/Professor Malenko
"Special Referee" Wahoo McDaniel
Funk is not to keen on the idea of Wahoo as the special referee in this one! He has words with Wahoo before the bout even begins! Finally, Wahoo gets both men checked and calls for the bell as these two lock up! The match goes back and forth during most of the contest with neither man really gaining a distinct advantage until Malenko gets on the apron to argue a call with Wahoo and he chops him off the apron to the floor! This of course sets Superstar off who hits Wahoo and the Chief fights back chopping him twice to the head and as he falls backwards Funk is there to capitalize and rolls Superstar up for the 1,2,3 @31:33! Superstar is disgusted and grabs up Malenko and the two quickly head to the back as Wahoo gets the World Title to give to Funk........Wahoo looks down at the title then back at Funk.......the two exchange some words and Wahoo hands over the title..........as he turns to leave the ring Funk nails him from behind with the title!!!!! The crowd is going nuts as Funk grabs Wahoo up and piledrives him hard into the mat!! As the crowd rains down the boos Funk spat on Wahoo and left the ring under tight security!!

Bob: As you saw there again fans there is some trouble brewing not only between Terry Funk and Superstar but Terry Funk and Wahoo McDaniel and Wahoo McDaniel and Masked Superstar as well! Let's go back to the ring!

TV MATCH 3 (Murnich introduces NWA World Heavyweight Champion Terry Funk vs. Bill White. Referee Sonny Fargo) Funk plays it up to the studio audience calling out Wahoo and Superstars names during the entire contest! He toys with White for awhile and White actually gets some good shots in because of it. In the end though Funk is too much as he gets the victory with the spinning toe-hold!
Winner: Terry Funk @6:13 .

Bob: Fans we are with the NWA World Heavyweight Champion now......Terry Funk!! Mr. Funk, great win there, but why would you keep calling out Wahoo McDaniel and Masked Superstars names?
Funk: Bob Caudle......because I can!!!! I am Terry Funk......your World Champion!!!! I can and I will do whatever I want, whenever I want! I heard that big masked goof out here earlier running off at the mouth......and to tell you the truth I don't care who, if anybody he has with him at ringside!!! I can beat him up and all his goofy friends! Now for the big stinking Indian.......this little Squaw!!! He has been out here runing his mouth and whining about how I jumped him and he wants a title shot and.......blah...blah....blah!!!! Keep on dreaming Chief Squanto!!!! You big dummy.......I ain't giving you no title shot!!!! (Out comes Wahoo!)
Wahoo: I'll show you......big dummy!!! (Wahoo immediately chops Funk across the chest and then on the head.......he grabs him and flings him into the ring!!! Wahoo slides in and grabs Funk up for a bodyslam and then hits the ropes and comes off with a huge double chop to Funk's head!!! Wahoo then straddles the champ and begins pounding on his face and head with hard shots until the lockeroom empties to break the two apart!!

TV MATCH 4 (After commercial break Murnich is in the ring for the next match as he introduces the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Robert Fuller vs. Tully Blanchard w/Johnny Weaver. Referee Tommy Young)
The studio audience is really into this one as the bell rings and they lock up! This one goes back and forth for the first few minutes until Blanchard goes for a shoulder tackle in the corner and Fuller side steps him! Blanchard flies between the ropes striking the ringpost and then falling out to the studio floor as we go to our final commercial break..................

.............as we come back from commercial break Fuller is outside putting boots to Blanchard as Referee Young is making the count.....5.....6....Fuller gets in the ring and as he does Weaver goes over and helps Blanchard to his feet and rolls him into the ring!! Fuller makes the quick cover....1.....2....2 1/2.....Blanchard kicks out just in the nick of time!!!! Fuller cannot believe that Blanchard has kicked out and is arguing with Young about the count...........Blanchard has slowly made it to his feet with the help of the ropes and comes up behind Fuller to lock on the SLEEPER!!!!! Fuller is fighting frantically to escape and looks to be going out when out from the back comes.................Bobby Duncum!?!?!?
Duncum hits the ring and clobbers Blanchard from behind causing an immediate disqualification!! Weaver enters the ring and catches a clothesline from Duncum!! Duncum and Fuller put the boots to both Blanchard and Weaver as the show goes to black!!!!!!
