Mil Mascaras/ Sicodelico vs. The Russians
 
“The Russians come to the ring with the flag in hand. They get so much heat as they order the fans to stand as they fly the flag. Mil and Sicodelico got a good pop as they hit the ring. This match had a fast start to it. Igor took Sicodelico into his corner. Both Russians go to work on Sociodelico with rights, lefts and kicks to the gut. Sicodelico is a big man and fights his way out only to be taken down with a drop toe hold. The Assassin got the tag and dropped an elbow to the back of the head. The match goes back and forth until Mil hit a big shoulder block on the Assassin. Mil gave the hot tag to Sicodelico. He picked the Assassin up and dropped him face first into the corner pad. Sicodelico then hit a gedo clutch for the 3 count.”
      
 Tito Santana / Lizmark vs. Angel Blanco/ Dr. Wagner
 
“This was a very big break for Lizmark and Tito. They hit the ring and the match is on. Tito takes Angel by the head and dropped hit to the mat. Tito goes to work and looks strong. Lizmark got the tag and keeps up the fast action. He takes to the air and hit some great moves. As Lizmark ran into the ropes the Dr. pulled down the top rope. Lizmark hit hard. Now it is time to see what Tito and Lizmark are made of. Angel and the Dr. pick one part of the body and go to work on it. They hit good double team moves. Tito is pushed to come into the ring a few times, this did not help Lizmark who got hit with lox blows and dropped over the top rope. The end came as the Dr. locked Lizmark into the La Escalera for the submission. Tito and Lizmark gave it all they had but came up short.”  
 
Paul Ellering/Rey Misterio vs. Tiger Jeet Singh/Blue Panther
 
“This match had the fans on the edge of their seat. Paul and Rey did work well together. Tiger and Panther just did not have the double team moves down to good. Tiger hit Panther with a wild spin kick after Rey got out of the hold. Rey made the tag and Paul sent Tiger hard to the floor. Paul then hit the pile driver on Panther for the 3 count.”  
 
Cowboy Bob Yuma/ Verne Gagne vs.  Swede Hansen / Rip Hawk
 
“Before the match could start G.M. Ric came into the ring. I have just been told Verne missed his flight into town. With that news Bob does not have anyone to tag with and this match will be given to Swede and Rip.”

Paul Ellering/Rey Misterio vs. Angel Blanco/ Dr. Wagner  
 
“This match does not look good for Wagner. Paul could not hold back and ran across the ring and hit a elbow smash to the head. Rey stopped Angel as he moved in for the save. All four men go to the floor and are going at it like wild dogs. Paul takes the Dr. by the mask and runs him hard into the ring post. The white mask has red all over the top of it. Paul got on top of Wagner and hit hard rights. Rey took Angel over the ringside table. Both men go at it. The ref has worked hard to get the men back into the ring. The ref had to give both teams the 10 count.
 
Mil Mascaras/ Sicodelico vs. Swede Hansen / Rip Hawk (SWCW Tag Team Title Match)
 
“Rip and Mil started out in the middle of the ring. Mil looked to have Rip rocked. As Mil moved in Rip hit a kick to the knee. Rip then hit three more kicks to the knee. Rip hit a hard chop and then a right. Rip took Mil to his side and put Mil in an arm bar. Rip tagged in Swede who hit a double ax handle to the arm. The match is now all Rip and Swede. Mil did fight back and almost made the tag. Swede works the back. Mil goes through the legs and makes the hot tag. Sicodelico is on fire. Swede and Rip can’t stop him. Mil is back in and takes Rip to the floor. The ref is looking at Mil and Rip on the floor. Swede hit a low blow on Sicodelico. Swede got a run and hit a big boot to the face. Swede make the cover 1…2…3 SWEDE AND RIP ARE THE NEW SWCW TAG CHAMPIONS!!!”  
    
Pampero Firpo  vs. Larry Zbysko (SWCW Title Match)
 
“Larry has come out on top of this war when the title is on the line. Firpo has not come to play and takes it to Larry. Firpo keeps up hard rights and hit a belly to back suplex. Larry made Firpo come in close and he got an upper cut in. Larry is back into this fight. Larry works the shoulder. Larry kicks at Firpo. Larry takes him down and locks on the arm bar. He goes back hard on the arm. Firpo looks to be in pain but makes it to the ropes. As Firpo is back into the match Larry looks for an out. He goes to the floor. He takes the belt and is backing down the walk way. Mil comes out and takes Larry by the head and puts him back into the ring. Larry is up and looks at Mil and tells him to back off. Firpo moves in from behind and got the roll up for 1…2…NO LARRY KICKED OUT. Firpo locked on the claw and Larry is back down Larry worked to get out but is in the middle of the ring. Larry goes limp. The ref checks the arm three times and calls for the bell. FIRPO HAS DONE IT HE JUST GOT THE SWCW TITLE. THE RING IS NOW FULL OF THE WRESTLES FROM THE LOCKER ROOM. THEY PUT HIM UP IN THE AIR WITH THE BELT AS THE REF HELPS LARRY OUT OF THE RING.”

“Good open to the show. Tito hit the flying elbow smash on Anibal for the 3 count.”
 
 El Olympico vs. Crusher Broomfield
 
“Broomfield goes wild on Olympico. He hit the splash for the 3 count.”
 
Paul Ellering/ Rey Misterio  vs.  Dr. Wagner/ El Canek
 
“This match was going good until Paul got his shot at Wagner. Wagner went to the floor and Paul went out after hit. Paul ran right into Canek and a huge close line. Canek picked Paul up and put him back into the ring. Wagner hit a good elbow off the top rope for the cover and a big 3 count. Canek ran over and hit Rey with a boot to the face. Rey went hard to the floor. Wagner and Canek took it to Paul before Rey got a chair and made the save.”

El Solitario vs. Angel Blanco (AWA World Light Heavyweight Title)
 
“Both men have a true high flying match. This could have gone either way. Angel caught El Solitario in the gut as he came off the top rope. Angel locked on a leg lock and made El Solitario give.”
  
Pampero Firpo  vs. Larry Zbysko (Cage Match SWCW Title)
 
“This was a shock for the fans as Firpo came to the ring with the belt. This match was all blood. Both men go at it and the fans are all into the match. Firpo sent Larry face first into the cage and as Larry came back Firpo locked the claw on for the 3 count.”

Not a shock that Swede and Rip came away with the tag titles, but Firpo coming out with the SWCW title shocked me to the core. Zbyszko is not going to sit back and take this loss lying down.  
 
Like the push Ellering is getting, but I'm not sure that he and Mysterio can take down Wagner and Canek. Precious Paul can fight as dirty as they come though...

definitley not a shock. rip-swede are a team of legend. should be a big team here in SWCW.
firpo? nah....
ellering-misterio as a team? odd ball but effective.
