Tom Bender: "Welcome from the County Coliseum in El Paso ladies and gentlemen, I'm Tom Bender and joining me is a longtime voice of Texas wrestling, Gene Goodison, as Pan-American Wrestling Council presents Championship Wrestling from El Paso. Gene what do we have lined up for today's program?

Gene Goodison: "Tom two big wrestling matches today, including a battle of second generation stars as Tiger Conway Jr wrestles Gorgeous George Jr, and we will find out if indeed The Mighty Pharaoh with his manager the Great Mephisto can live up to his claim and humble the Indian fighter Ringo Mendoza. That plus former boxer turned professional wrestler Jose Alex Perez will don the gloves for a three round exhibition.

"We will have a very special interview with Gori Guererro and the Blue Demon, and also talk to other favorites, Jose Lothario and Ricky Romero!

Tom: "An all-star lineup this week folks, this will be a card you will not want to miss. Why don't we take a brief timeout, and wrestling action begins when we come back.

Gene is joined by GORI GUERERRO AND THE BLUE DEMON in the middle of the ring.

Gene: "Please give a warm El Paso welcome to two legends held in very high regard in the wrestling world . . . the Chairman of the Pan-American Wrestling Council . . GORI GUERERRO . . . and the #1 Contender for the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship--- THE BLUE DEMON!

The fans enthusiastically applaud both men.

Gori: "I want to thank the fans for that wonderful welcome once again.

"Gene, this week I want to talk about some of the world titles in the National Wrestling Alliance. Now that we have become full fledged members of the NWA, there is a general perception in the wrestling world that the NWA World HEAVYWEIGHT Championship is the most prestigious title in the world. But when you ask the experts, the experts that really know their wrestling, they will tell you that pound for pound, the NWA World JUNIOR Heavyweight championship is the most prestigious, because it is the division with the best all-around wrestlers.

"After all take a look at the long list of former greats who have the belt that Jerry Brisco now holds . . . I'm talking about Nelson Royal . . . Danny Hodge, who held that belt on seven occasions, the most of any NWA champion . . . Hiro Matsuda . . . Danny McShain . . . Leroy McGuirk who held on to the championship for over 10 years, and last but not least Verne Gagne and Dory Funk, Sr have all held the belt, among other greats. And at the risk of name dropping, lets not forget other non-Heavyweight NWA titles . .  . .such as the the NWA Welterweight title held by El Santo AND the man standing in the ring today, Blue Demon, twice!

The fans applaud Blue Demon!

Gene: "If I may elasborate on this subject, at the risk of embarrassing Mr. Guererro, let me point out that for decades the NWA Light Heavyweight Championship has been one of the most prestigious belts in Mexican wrestling, a title held not only by Rey Mendoza, father of World Six-Man Tag Team Champions Los Villanos . . .but a title indeed held on two occasions by this man standing next to me, GORI GUERERRO!!!

The fans applaud!

Gori: "Well, thank you mentioning that Gene, and yes, I am embarrassed, because this is not about me but thank you for mentioning that accomplishment which I am very proud of . . . .but the bottom line is when it comes to great pure wrestling matches, and fast paced wrestling action, the non-Heavyweight wrestling classes are where its at, and these fans know it, and that is why we are very excited to have the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion Jerry Brisco come to Juarez on September 16.

Gene: "Lets go to this man, he is the #1 contender for the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion, the Blue Demon. Now last week, Mr. Demon, the Bad Boy of Professional Wrestling, Jody Arnold, has some . . well, very disrespectful things to say about you, sir.

Guererro translates the question to Blue Demon.

Blue Demon: "Sr. Goodison es un privilegio y un honor ser competidor del número uno de los nombres para este campeonato prestigioso. He oído y entiendo desafío de Sr. Arnold.

Gori transaltes: "Mr. Goodison it is both a privilege and an honor to be named Number One Contender for this prestigious championship. I have heard and understand Mr. Arnold's most brazen challenge.

Demon: "Puse este desafío al Pan-American Wrestling Council entero.

Gori: "I put this challenge to the entire Pan-American Wrestling Council.

Gori: "I am wearing a blue jacket. This is a blue jacket that I have worn to the ring for thousands of matches in my career. Any man that can beat the Blue Demon may take this jacket, and wear it, for whoever wears this jacket to the ring will be the new number one contender!

"Now, Gene, just to make sure everyone understands what my friend Blue Demon is offering . . . its not some empty bauble.

"This is not only a blue jacket that the Blue Demon has worn to the ring for many, many matches, and title defenses . . . but the same jacket he has worn to the ring for his matches filmed for his famous movies, many with El Santo. If someone can beat the Blue Demon, they would be the owner of a relic of wrestling history, in addition to being designated the new #1 contender for the NWA World Junior heavyweight title, the most prestigious heavyweight championship in the world today!

Gene: "There you have it fans, any man that can beat the Blue Demon gets to keep his LEGENDARY blue jacket, and becomes the new Number One contender for the NWA World Junior heavyweight Championshio, Blue Demon with a very sporting challenge for all the wrestlers here in the Pan-American Wrestling Council! Gentlemen, thank you for your time, we will be back after this!

BOXING EXHIBITION
JOSE ALEX PEREZ V VICENTE RONDON
3 ROUNDS, 2 MINUTES EACH

Tom: "All right, well here we go, what can you tell us about Vicente Rondon, Gene?

Gene: "Vincente around 200 pounds out of Venezuela, was at one point ranked the #2 boxer in the world by Ring magazine in the Light Heavyweight Division, at one point the world champion Bob Foster was stripped of this title because he refused to fight Rondon, so I think Jose Alex Perez would do very well to look good against Rondon today in this exhibition, this is no punching bag he is in the ring against.

The bell rings, and we are underway!

Tom: "You know, Gene, I wouldn't put it past Vicente Rondon to try and take out Jose Alex Perez--- EVERYONE wants an opportunity to be the Brass Knux Champion!

Perez keeps it entertaining, but finally, at the beginning of the third round, scores a nice knockout on Rondon, the winner of this boxing contest is Jose Alex Perez with a right hand 53 seconds into the third round!

Tom: "Well, that right hand is what Flama Roja will have to face in two weeks as Jose Alex Perez I am sure will count on both his pugilistic and grappling skills to win the Brass Knux title from the masked man, more after this!

Ringo Mendoza is in the ring, when . . LOOK AT THIS!!!

Being lead to the ring by Great Mephisto  . . ITS THE PHARAOH, in full regalia, being carried on a throne by several hard working slave girls!!! WHAT AN ENTRANCE!!!!

The slave girls put the throne on the floor, and wave Pharaoh with fans as he steps up to the apron, where RINGO MENDOZA wants to fight, Great Mephisto demands Mendoza make way, as one of the slave girls opens the ropes for Pharaoh, who steps through, then stands in a corner with his headdress, arms folded, glaring at his foe as Mephisto takes the mike.

Mephisto: "RINGO MENDOZAAAAAH . . . . the while the Mighty Pharaoh is the Ruler of the Upper and Lower Nile, he is but a merciful and generous man!!! If you get on your hands and knees, and crawl to the Pharaoh and bow down to your Master, HE WILL SPARE YOU ENDLESS TORTURE AND SUFFERING!!!!

Ringo looks to the crowd, who tells him not to do it!!! Ringo steps into the center of the ring, and DEMANDS PHARAOH FIGHT HIM!!! Ringo turns to the crowd for approval--
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

PHARAOH RUSHES ACROSS THE RING AND KNEES HIM IN THE BACK, AND THROWS OFF HIS HEADDRESS, AND ATTACKS MEDOZA WITH KICKS, PUNCHES, STOMPS AND EYE RAKES IN SOME OF THE MOST VICIOUS WRESTLING EVER SEEN!!!

THE PHARAOH w/Great Mephisto v RINGO MENDOZA
The ref keeps pulling Pharaoh off of Mendoza, but the Pharaoh, clearly a sadistic madman, will not relent, and PULLS OUT A PENCIL, AND STICKS IT IN MENDOZAS THROAT, AND THEN STICKS IT IN HIS FOREHEAD, DRAWING BLOOD!!! The Pharaoh hides the pencil, and sticks it back in his tights, as Mendoza falls to the mat, stunned, shocked and bleeding from the forehead! The ref checks the Pharaoh, but the Pharaoh holds his arms out, pleading his innocence and challenging the referee to find anything illegal.

Mendoza recovers, and gets some weak offense in on the Pharaoh, but the Pharaoh knees him in the head, and then puts Mendoza in the camel clutch, and the referee rings the bell, BUT PHARAOH WILL NOT LET GO!!! THE REF ORDERS PHARAOH TO LET GO, AS MEPHISTO ARGUES WITH THE REF---- THE REF ORDERS THE BELL RUNG------
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
. . . . . . . . HE REVERSES HIS DECISION---- THE REFEREE HAS DISQUALIFIED THE PHARAOH AND HAS GIVEN THIS MATCH TO RINGO MENDOZA!!! The Pharaoh lets go and argues with the referee . . . and the ref holds Mendozas head up in victory--- PHARAOH GOES NUTS, AND KICKS AND STOMPS MENDOZA, AND THROWS HIM OUT OF THE RING, AS THE FANS BOO HIM OUT OF THE BUILDING!!!!

Tom: "Gene, I have never SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS, THE PHARAOH IS OBVIOUSLY A PSYCHOPATH!!!

Gene: "This man obviously does not care about wins, looses or titles--- he is here for one thing, and one thing only--- to humiliate and torture his opponents!!!!

Tom: "Unbelievable. I question if this man belongs in a wrestling ring!!!! We will talk to Jose Lothario and Ricky Romero to wrap this up when we return!
.

.
50-MINUTE COMMERCIAL BREAK

.
.
.Gene is joined by JOSE LOTHARIO AND RICKY ROMERO!!!

The fans applaud both heroes.

Ricky: "Gene Goodison, El Paso and Juarez have always been good to Ricky Romero! But I have to ask---was that wrestling that we just saw???? Hopefully the NWA will put a stop to those types of tactics, or else perhaps the wrestlers will have to take actions in their own hands.

"There are so many challenges here in Pan-American Wrestling. You have Blue Demon and his jacket. If we can find a third man, perhaps Supersock and I will challenge Los Villanos for their belts. And then there is the tough Flama Roja. Why after what we just saw, maybe someone needs to step in and stop The Pharaoh.

Gene: "Well, next week on championship wrestling fellas you will face another challenge when you take on the NWA Gulf Coast heavyweight Champion Don Carson and his tag team parter, Dr. Ferris.

Jose: "That will be a tough match, The fans here have seen Don Carson before, and know what he is about. I understand we face them next week, and then also August 6 in Juarez in a rematch, I'm looking forward to Ricky and I facing Carson, and matching wits with this Dr. Ferris fellow, and we will see what happens from there!

Gene: "Gentlemen, thank you, next week you will have that match, also scheduled you will see Jose Alex Perez wrestle, not box, but wrestle the colorful Beauregarde, and a six man tag team match featuring Gran Hamada, Alfonso Dantes and Javier Llanes. See you then!

Good win by Conway, Jr. Hope he does well in El Paso.

The bit with the ring jacket and the Spanish promo for Blue Demon was a nice touch.

The Pharoah has just as much violence as The Sheik. Bad news for El Paso.

I love this promotion. Looking forward to the big card.
