All matches under supervision of the State of Texas Athletic Board. Steve Stack: "Folks, welcome to another action packed hour of Championship Rasslin', and folks, what an hour we have for you today. We’ll have all the big news regarding the biggest professional rasslin’ card to ever take place in Amarillo, which will be this Thursday night. We’ll find out just who Jose Lothario’s tag team partner will be for his last title match against Gino Hernandez and Jerry Brisco. Jerry’s brother Jack Brisco is here and so is the man he’ll face this Thursday night with a 90 minute time limit, NWA World Heavyweight Champion Terry Funk. Dory Funk Jr. is here and will be in action, hoping to shed any ring rust in advance of his must-win International Title Texas Death Match against The Super Destroyer. Plus, we also have special guests NWA World Tag Team Champions Gene & Ole Anderson here as well. Don't touch that dial more Championship Rasslin is on its way!”

GINO HERNANDEZ def. DIZZY GOLDEN, 4:11 Fans, look at this entourage- IT’S JACK & JERRY BRISCO, GINO HERNANDEZ, GIANT BABA, THE MONGOLIAN STOMPER, THE SUPER DESTROYER, WILD BULL CURRY, AND “THE MANAGER OF CHAMPIONS” BOBBY DAVIS!!
Steve Stack: “Well..”
Bobby Davis: “That’s quite enough, Steve Stack! Last week, you were incredibly rude to me and denied me the chance to show the people this special video presentation on my newest wrestler. Well, thanks to my legal team, I have been given my rightful time to show this video presentation at the top of the program. Let me refresh everyone’s memory. I am bringing a new wrestler to American from Japan, a man who has been trained in the ancient Samurai martial arts. He recommended from this man, the Giant Baba, who has said that this man is just as merciless and vicious as he is. Without further adieu, take a look…”
The video presentation opens up in a dark dojo, so dark that it’s hard to make out what’s going on. We can hear what sounds like two people fighting and then we clearly see one man fly across the screen and ht the ground. It’s become more visible and we see a man wearing a black karate outfit with a kendo mask covering his face. Two more men charge the room and this masked man quickly dispatches of both of them and sends them to the ground. The masked man then turns towards the camera and slowly pulls off the kendo mask. The mask is off but the man’s hair is literally covering his face and we cannot make out any facial features. The man then points his head upwards and suddenly blows GREEN MIST INTO THE AIR!!! The camera then focuses as the man points his head eye-level with the camera… 
Steve Stack: “WHAT WAS THAT?!?”
Bobby Davis: “That’s my newest wrestler, the man who will destroy all competition in front of him here in Amarillo. The man will be in Amarillo this Thursday night, but I will not divulge for what reason. NOW, let me turn the microphone over to this man, Jack Brisco who will be the next NWA World Heavyweight Champion.”
Jack Brisco: “Steve, I’ve seen this guy that Bobby is bringing in, let me just say how glad I am that I’m on the same side as he is! There’s one man who’s side I’m most definitely not on though and that man is Terry Funk. The whole world knows that Terry is nothing but a paper champion, who escaped with his belt on a technicality last time we rassled in Amarillo. Thus Thursday night, I’m taking back my NWA World Heavyweight Title, Terry, and there isn’t a thing you can do about it.”
Super Destroyer: “And as for Dory Funk Jr., just remember that you won’t be facing some fresh-faced kid on Thursday night. You’re dealing with the International Heavyweight Champion here. I’m going to defeat you in the match your family made famous and then force you to leave your home forever. I cannot think of a better reward.”
Bobby Davis: “Oh and Steve, Gino and Jerry will be back out here with me later on when Jose Lothario admits to the world that nobody would agree to team with him.”
Steve Stack: “I wouldn’t be too sure of that Bobby. I happen to know who Jose has picked and I don’t think you’re going to be happy at all.”
Bobby Davis: “Oh come on! You’re saying I’m gonna be scared about who Jose’s dug up to team with him? Is that what you’re saying? Why would say something like that? Are you saying I’m going to be shocked or something? Are you just trying to get under my skin….or are you being serious? What…”
Steve: “We’ll be back.”

Dick Murdoch: “Steve, it’s great to be here as always. Ah just stopped by this afternoon to join you for commentary on the next match, if that’s ok with you.”
Steve Stack: “Absolutely, it’s a pleasure to have the Western States Champion out here on Championship Rasslin.”
Dick Murdoch: “This young man up next, Lanny Poffo, he sure is a fella who’s gonna go far! This guy’s got some incredible moves that even Ah have never seen before.”

THE NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS OLE & GENE ANDERSON have joined Steve and they don’t look happy!
Steve Stack: “Well, these two men need no introduction…”
Ole Anderson: “Then there is no need for you to go any further, Steve Stack. Excuse me for being slightly agitated, but I’d like to know just what in the heck is going on around here! Do you realize that you have the greatest tag team in the world today booked for this show today, yet you don’t even get us on the program until mid-way through?”
Steve Stack: “Well Ole, we have a packed program this afternoon…”
Ole Anderson: “Is that supposed to be some kind of excuse, Steve Stack? I don’t think so. You have plenty of time to talk to the redneck idiot Dick Murdoch and watch this young punk Poffo putz around in the ring, but not enough time to properly highlight the single most dangerous and most decorated tag team in the history of our great sport?”
(At this point, DICK MURDOCH makes his way back out to the ringside area looking slightly agitated and he is accompanied by LANNY POFFO)
Ole Anderson: “And what may I ask is this? Murdoch, the champions are talking now so why don’t you mind your manners and go back to the dressing and continue dreaming that you’ll one day be half the man that I am.”
Dick Murdoch: “Now hold on one second, Ole Anderson. I don’t understand why you think you have the right to come out here and knock me and the young kid Poffo. We didn’t say nothin’ about you two…”
Ole Anderson: “You wouldn’t dare to do that, Murdoch. You know that if you did we’d cripple you in seconds flat.”
Dick Murdoch: “Is that right? Well how about this, then. Me and this kid Poffo don’t really have much in common, but I think we could give you two a run for your money and maybe even take those belts you have. Why don’t you put them on the line against us this Thursday night?”
Gene Anderson: “We’re the World Tag Team Champions, we don’t work around your schedule!”
Ole Anderson: “And besides, who have you and this punk Poffo beaten? But you know what, you’ve run your mouth off Murdoch so let’s see what you can do. Gene and I will be back here next week for TV and we’ll wrestle you and Poffo…in a NON-TITLE match! If lightning strikes and you somehow managed to get some kind of win, then AND ONLY THEN will we defend these belts against you two.”
Dick Murdoch: “You’re on. Lanny, let’s go talk some strategy.”
Ole Anderson: “You better talk forever because that’s how much strategy it’ll take to beat The Anderson Brothers!”
Steve Stack: “Fans, we have a big match set for next week here on Championship Rasslin!”

Steve Stack: “Jose, it’s great to see you and I know you have a major announcement to make tonight.”
Jose Lothario: “I do, Steve. First though, I’d like to ask Bobby Davis, Jerry Brisco, and Gino to come out here because I want to tell them to their faces just who they will be going against this Thursday night.”
And here comes “THE MANAGER OF CHAMPIONS” BOBBY DAVIS AND THE WESTERN STATES TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS JERRY BRISCO AND GOOOOOORGEOUS GINO HERNANDEZ!! Gino is decked out in an Armani suit and wearing slightly oversized sunglasses.
Gino Hernandez: “Old man, I want you to tell the whole world right now that you don’t have a partner, you’re not gonna be able to get a partner, and that you’re going to forfeit the match to Jerry and me. You understand me?”
Jose Lothario: “I cannot do that, my boy. I have found a tag team partner, a man who’s known all around the world. I think you and your friends Davis and Brisco will know him very well. In fact, here he comes now!”
IT’S ANDRE THE GIANT!!!!! BOBBY DAVIS IS FLIPPING OUT AT RINGSIDE AND SO ARE GINO HERNANDEZ AND JERRY BRISCO!!!
Bobby Davis: “IT’S NO FAIR!!! NOBODY SAID ANYTHING ABOUT A GIANT!!! THIS IS NOT FAIR!!!”
Jose Lothario: “Your man Gino made the challenge and I have simply answered it. All you should be ready because this Thursday night Andre and I are going to be coming for those Western States Tag Team Titles.”
AND LOOK AT DAVIS- HE’S LOST IT!!! HE’S YELLING AT ANDRE!!! AND ANDRE JUST TAKES HIS PALM AND SHOVES DAVIS TO THE GROUND EFFORTLESSLY!!! GINO AND JERRY GRAB DAVIS AND HIGHTAIL IT TO THE BACK!!
Steve Stack: “That’s right, folks! It’s gonna be Gino and Jerry against Super Sock and ANDRE THE GIANT at the Sports Arena this Thursday night!!!”

Steve: “Gentlemen, we only have a few moments left, but we certainly want to get some last minute comments from both of you.”
Dory Funk Junior: “Steve, there’s not much left to say. Thursday night will either be one of the greatest nights of my life or the worst night of my life. The people know what is a stake in this match. If I win, I get the International Heavyweight Title back and I also get my revenge. If I lose, I have to come out here next week and say in front of all of Texas that the Super Destroyer is superior to me and then I have to leave my home forever. The stakes don’t get much higher than that, folks. It’s going to be a Texas Death Match and that also means that there’s a very good chance that one or both of us will never be the same as we were before the match began. It’s all on the line folks and I promise to you now that I will fight until I cannot fight anymore. And I will bring home that International Heavyweight Title.”
Terry Funk: “Junior, I know you can do it and most importantly these people know you can do it. Speaking of low-down egg-suckin’ dogs like the Super Destroyer, I have to rassle a man just as low-down as he is this coming Thursday night. Jack Brisco, it’s going to be you and I and we have ninety minutes to show the world just who the rightful NWA World Heavyweight Champion is. Last time, you took me the to the limit, but you did not defeat me. This time, I’m more rested and I have cleared up the nagging injuries I had the last time. I’m willing and able to go the limit to beat you once and for all. The question is are you ready? Are you read to step into the lion’s den with me, Jack Brisco? I hope you are because if you’re not, I’m gonna eat you alive, son!”
Steve: Folks, don’t forget this Thursday at the Sports Arena, the biggest card in the history of Amarillo. On the card, Gino Hernandez teams with Jerry Brisco to defend the Western States Tag Team Titkes against Jose Lothario and Andre The Giant. Giant Baba and The Mongolian Stomper go against Chris Taylor and Cyclone Negro. Let’s not forget the Tar & Feather match between Dennis Stamp and Choin Sun. And of course the two big ones: a Texas Death Match for the International Heavyweight Title as The Super Destroyer defends against Dory Funk Jr. And in a 90 minute time limit match, NWA World Heavyweight Champion Terry Funk defends against Jack Brisco. Welp, folks, we are outta time, make sure to come on out to the Sports Arena this Thursday night and we’ll see you next week on Championship rasslin'!”
