"We will begin with the festivities in just a moment"

COMMERCIAL BREAK

WWWF Champion Superstar Billy Graham easily defeats Frankie Williams in our opening match, but the real action happened outside of the ring as NWA World Champion Terry Funk appeared at ringside and STOLE the WWWF Championship!!!! Once Graham realized what happened he ran into the locker room in hot pursuit of Funk!!

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Vince says that Graham is searching for Funk all over the dressing room and promises to give us updates throughout the show

Gorilla Monsoon defeats  Tom Lynch with an Airplane Spin. After the match Vince stops Monsoon in front of the ring for an interview, Vince mentions Monsoon standing up to Nikolai Volkoff at Madison Square Garden. Monsoon says it is time someone stands up to Nikolai and at Madison Square Garden he will shut Nikolai up once and for all.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Before the match it is revealed that Graham is still om Funk's trail, but Funk has so far alluded him.

Pat Patterson with The Grand Wizard defeats Argentina Apollo. After the match, Patterson grabs a microphone and calls Graham a coward, he says Graham should be defending the WWWF title against him instead of chasing Terry Funk. Patterson promises that Graham won't ignore him any longer.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Vince has another update for us as we return from the break, it has been reported to him that NWA World Champion Terry Funk jumped into a car and took off down the road!!! It is assumed that he still has the WWWF Title in his possession, Superstar Graham is not yet aware of this and is still searching the building.

“Polish Power” Ivan Putski makes his long awaited return to the World Wide Wrestling Federation and defeates Doug Gilbert with the Polish Hammer!!

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Before the final match begins, Vince reports that he has just been handed a note stating that Superstar Graham found out that Terry Funk had taken off in a car with the WWWF Title, and Graham jumped on a Motor Bike and took off after Funk!!!!!

In our final match, former WWWF Tag Team Champions Jesse Ventura and Ken Patera with Captain Louis Albano defeat Pete Sanchez and Danny Johnson.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Vince is getting ready to close the show when Pat Patterson and The Grand Wizard come back out to ringside, Patterson has something wrapped in a towel. Patterson asks if anyone has heard anything from Graham, Vince says they have not and restates that Graham was last seen getting onto a motor bike and chasing after Funk who jumped into a car and headed down the road with the WWWF Title Belt. Patterson said chuckled and said “You mean...THIS BELT?” and unwrapped the WWWF Title from the towel!! Patterson said Funk left the belt with him. Vince says that belt is the property of Billy Graham. Patterson says possession is 9/10ths of the law. He calls Graham a coward again, and says that if Graham refuses to face him, then he doesn't deserve the belt. Wizard hand Patterson a hammer and Patterson destroys the WWWF Title with it while Vince screams for him to stop!! Patterson then hands the broken pieces of the title belt to Vince and leaves. We don't get a closing, just Vince standing there with what remains of Superstar Billy Graham's WWWF Title!

This promotion is in utter CHAOS!!!!  What do we need to do to restore some normality?  Oh, wait...this is the WWWF!  Turmoil seems to be the norm here!

I really hope Graham gets his hands on that dastardly Funk!  That would be quite the match.

Very good show. I wonder what happened to Pat Patterson since he left San Francisco. Maybe he needs to return and go "straight", metahporiacally speaking. I'm really enjoying the WWWF.

I agree with just about everyone in that the Graham-Funk-Paterson triad will be something exciting to watch the rest of the summer. I'm not too sure that the Superstar can handle both alone though...

Monsoon - Volkoff will be one heck of a match to see down the line, but I'm not too sure that the big man from Siberia will have enought to take down the massive man from Manchuria.

Nice return for Pustki, who I see possibly taking the Monsoon role as face gatekeeper in the not too distant future, and a solid rebound win for Patera and Ventura. When those two fall apart, that will be an awesome feud.

Good TV from the Mecca of the NWA.
