Camera pans the audience and settles on Bob Jenkins at the announce booth

Jenkins:  "Fans, welcome to another action-packed hour of WWA Indianapolis wrestling.  On today's show, we will here from the AWA World heavyweight champion NICK BOCKWINKEL.  Also, we will see footage of a man who will be in our area soon, ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER!!!  Plus, we will see CHRIS COLT, THE GRAHAMS, MARK LEWIN, and MITSU ARAKAWA in action.  Finally, we will speak with several other stars concerning the recent events at the Hinkle Fieldhouse and Evansville!  At this time, I'd like to welcome my co-host for this show...CRYBABY CANNON

CANNON makes his way to the announce table

CANNON:  Robert, my name is GEORGE CANNON and I am not a CRYBABY!  If I am going to be treated this way, I will be forced to have BULLDOG BROWER and GEORGE STEELE come out here and teach you a lesson on respect!

JENKINS:  I apologize.  Speaking of BROWER and STEELE, they caused quite a bit of damage at Hinkle Fieldhouse and Evansville this week!

CANNON:  Yes they did, didn't they?  They fought THE GRAHAMS all over the Fieldhouse Sunday and destroyed CARPETIER, THOMAS, KENT and THE MOONDOG, leaving them in a pool of blood!!!  You see, last week I said that I was unleashing the greatest destructive force in professional wrestling history and I did.  We will destroy THE GRAHAMS tomorrow night at the Hinkle Fieldhouse and then we will turn our attention to our true targets...BRUISER & CRUSHER!!!

JENKINS:  We'll see about that!  Fans, stay tuned.  When we get back, we'll see CHRIS COLT in action!!!

JENKINS:  Fans, welcome back!  Let's go to the ring for our first match!

MATCH #1

CHRIS COLT destroys JOHNNY DAVIS with a vicious kick to the wind pipe.

JENKINS:  CHRIS, last Wednesday in Evansville, you defeated BOBO BRAZIL and injured his knee.  The doctor has advised him to rest it for a couple of weeks.

COLT:  That's right, I hurt BOBO pretty bad and I don't think we'll ever see him around here again!  Now, I hear I have to face BRAZIL's friend MARK LEWIN at the Hinkle Fieldhouse tomorrow and inFt. Wayne this Wednesday.  Well, I hope he's got his insurance paid up 'cause I plan on cripplin' him like I did that joke BRAZIL!  I have only begun my mission to retire all the so-called fan favorites in this area!

JENKINS:  Fans, let's go to our next match

MATCH #2

MARK LEWIN defeats THE BEAST with the sleeperhold as CHRIS COLT watches from ringside.

JENKINS:  MARK, great win!

LEWIN:  Thanks BOB.  I am here today with a heavy heart.  My friend BOBO BRAZIL was injured in Evansville at the hands of CHRIS COLT.  Now, I know, that BOBO is a man and can take care of his own business, but I want to teach that creep COLT a lesson.  This Wednesday, I have my chance at the Hinkle Fieldhouse and in Ft. Wayne.  CHRIS COLT, this is a promise from me to you.  You will bleed a bucket of blood this week!

JENKINS:  We'll be back.

VOICE-OVER:  Wednesday night at the War Memorial Coliseum in Ft. Wayne
WWA Indianapolis wrestling returns with 7 big matches

                      MARK LEWIN vs CHRIS COLT
GEORGE STEELE & BULLDOG BROWER vs THE GRAHAMS

LUIS MARTINEZ vs BAD NEWS ALLEN COAGE
A $2,500.00 BATTLE ROYAL and more

JENKINS:  Fans, our next match is in the ring.

MATCH #3

MITSU ARAKAWA pummels DUNCAN MacTAVISH in under a minute with the claw.

JENKINS:  MR. CANNON, that was an impressive win by ARAKAWA!

CANNON:  Very...Hmmm.

JENKINS:  This week we will have two special guests in the area.  First, this man...

Film clip of ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER mauling an opponent airs.

JENKINS:  That's right fans, ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER will be at the Hinkle Fieldhouse tomorrow night facing THE CRUSHER!  We will also have the AWA World Heavyweight Champion NICK BOCKWINKEL on the card tomorrow night as he faces DICK THE BRUISER!!!  Here are some comments from MR. BOCKWINKEL!

Film clip shows with BOCKWINKEL wearing a sports coat and craddling the AWAtitle belt.

BOCKWINKEL:  Apparently, I am being scolded by the American Wrestling Association.  Why else would a man of my grace and class be forced to wrestle in Indianapolis.  I mean, no offense, but the only thing the people of Indiana are noted for are stiff necks from watching cars go round and round in a circle once a year.  I am used to the finer things in life:  Limosines, jets, sports cars, caviar, and champagne.  To you people, a luxury is a bar of soap.  Just look at whom I'm wrestling tomorrow night.  DICK THE BRUISER!  I will need to be de-loused after touching that neanderthal.  My skills are far superior to his and I will make short work of him. After that, all of you losers, I mean Hoosiers, will never see me in this hick town again.  It has been your pleasure!

JENKINS:  Fans, we'll be right back!

CANNON:  I agree with the champion 100%

COMMERCIAL

VOICE-OVER runs down the card for 8/8/77 in Ft. Wayne

JENKINS:  Our final match is in the ring!

MATCH #4
The GRAHAMS pulverize BOBBY BOLD EAGLE & BILLY RED CLOUD when JERRY JR. uses the shoulder breaker on RED CLOUD

LUKE grabs CANNON by the lapels pushes him against the set

LUKE:  CANNON, we're not through with STEELE & BROWER!!!  They got us arrested and cost us lots of money in the process.  Nobody will be able to pull us off of them this week.  We're going to destroy them and then we're gonna make you bleed like a stuck pig!  Nobody comes in here and pushes us around.  We're the toughest, meanest, CRAZIEST team around and this week we'll prove it! There's not a building in Indiana that can hold this.  One of us ain't gonna survive this war and you better believe it ain't gonna be us!  Tell yer boys we're ready for 'em!

Cannon feigns a heart attack and runs from the set crying!

COMMERCIAL

VOICE-OVER runs down the card for 8/5/77 at the Hinkle Fieldhouse

JENKINS:  Fans, that's all for this week, join us next week as Rufus R. Jones makes his debut right here on TV.  Until then, we'll see ya from the Hoosier state!

The color on the dialogue made the show flow well. The blue does not show well on certain computers, though. The red and yellow were better.

Nice set up for the match between Brower/ Steele and The Grahams. Great to have Cannon on commentary to further that.

Nice promos by Colt, Grahams, and, especially, Bockwinkel. That is vintage Nick.

Loved the competitive main. Great job by The Grahams over the competitive Native Americans.

Great show. Your are on the right track.

Cannon's absolutely right, he's no crybaby, and Jenkins should be glad that Cannon didn't lay the smack down on him for insulting him like that!

I agree with the others, the yellow and red is good, but the blue doesn't show up well.  I know it can be difficult finding the right colours, as some might look fine on your monitor, but not on others and that sort of thing.  But, other than the blue, the colours were fine for me.

There's some big shows coming up, I'm looking forward to those.  Particularly at the Hinkle Fieldhouse, with the Bruiser challenging Bock, that'll be great!

An impressive victory for Lewin over the Beast, that was probably my favourite match on the show!

Agent Sands: No. I'll shoot the cook. My car's parked out back anyway.

Real good TV. What you have has the feel of what I was doing with PPK when I helped him run Ohio back earlier this year. I like that the WWA has it's own feel and seperate writer so that you have your onw stories. That is key to making this your place.

Steele and Brower vs. the Grahams is a great heel v.heel feud, but I get the sense that you are turning the Grahams. Not sure how that will play, but I'll wait and see.

Bock vs. the Butcher will be a great contest and clash of styles. Again though, I see a heel v. heel match and neitehr can really get over as a fan favorite.

Good work here.
