Bill Francis vs. Guy Lambert
 
This is a good close match. The veteran Lambert has his chances, but Francis wins with the sleeper.

Robert Toronto vs. Superfly Tui
 
Two Polynesian wrestlers do battle. The action is fast-paced with several nearfalls. Tui wins with the “Superfly” leap.

Third Match, one fall, 30 minutes
Earl Maynard and Steve Rickard vs. Johnny Karisma and Jerry Monti
 
This will be a good tag match. Maynard and Karisma open it up. Earl uses his strength to control the big youngster. Maynard tags in Rickard and the New Zealand veteran goes to work. Maynard and Rickard control the action. Monti tags in and gets in a few shots, but he end comes when Maynard locks Monti in the full Nelson and Jerry submits.

Fourth Match, one fall, 45 minutes
Coloso Colosetti w/Saul Weingeroff vs. Sam Steamboat
 
This will be a fast-paced Jr. Heavyweight match. They trade holds and counter holds and the first few minutes are dead even. Steamboat slowly takes control and Colosetti and Weingeroff seem frustrated. Colosetti rolls out of the ring and confers with his manager. He returns and goes to the roughhouse tactics. Steamboat puts up a fight, but Colosetti wins with the Argentinean backbreaker.

Fifth Match, one fall, 45 minutes
Pepper Gomez vs. Alexis Smirnoff
 
Gomez takes time off from his feud with Texas Red to meet the big man from Stalingrad. Smirnoff jumps Gomez before the bell. He stomps away and Pepper is in trouble. The referee backs Smirnoff away and Gomez is able to get to his feet. He tears into Smirnoff and throws right and lefts. The match turns into a pier six brawl. Both men end up on the floor and are counted out.

Semi-Final, one fall, 60 minutes
Kevin Sullivan vs. Ripper Collins w/Saul Weingeroff
 
Sullivan is hot on the heels of Jerry Brisco, the World Jr. Heavyweight Champion. Tonight he faces a much larger man. Sullivan out-wrestles Collins and the “King” takes to the floor to confer with Weingeroff. Collins returns and he turns to the sneaky tactics. Soon he has Sullivan in trouble. Collins uses the strap of his singlet to choke the youngster from Boston. He breaks at four several times, but the damage is done. Finally Sullivan has enough. He goes to the brawling tactics as well and backs Collins up. Ripper is in trouble. Weingeroff jumps up on the ring apron. Sullivan pushes Collins into his manager. Weingeroff hits the floor and Kevin rolls up Collins.

Main Event, one fall, 60 minutes
Six Man Tag Team Match
Bruno Sammartino, Tony Garea and Dean Ho vs. The Royal Kangaroos and Ben Justice w/J.C. Dykes
 
The Reno crowd is buzzing about this one. The two top feuds in the organization are in this match. The bell rings and Bruno Sammartino vs. Ben Justice. Justice does not want to lock up with the Pacific Coast Champion. He stalls until Bruno catches him and goes to work. He lands rights and lefts and Ben is in trouble. He is able to tag in Norman Frederick Charles III, but the Royal Kangaroo fares no better. It looks like Bruno may win this one by himself until the Kangaroos work together and trap Sammartino in the corner. Bruno is able to escape and tag in Dean Ho. The Hawaiian goes to work and clears the ring. The match goes back and forth. Things look good fro Dykes’ men when they trap Ho in the corner and work him over. Dean escapes and tags in Garea. All six men end up in the ring. In the confusion, Garea rolls up Boyd and the referee counts the fall. The crowd explodes!
