AWA International Wrestling 7/28 & 7/30

7/28/77 in the Auditorium de Verdun (Verdun, Qc)
 
~ Rusher Kimura defeated Greg Peterson after a clothesline to the back of the head.
 
~ The Mercenaries (Frenchie Martin & Mad Dog Martel) defeated the UFO’s #1 & #2 when Martin pinned UFO #2 after a powerslam.
 
~ Jacques Rougeau Jr. defeated Eric the Red (w/the Major) by disqualification when Eric the Red was caught using the bone on Jacques. After the match Eric the Red mauled Jacques Jr. until Raymond made the save.
 
intermission.
 
~ The Masked Mr. Pro defeated Mr. Hito with a Kiwi roll.
 
~ Jack Evans & Larry Sharpe fought Chief War Cloud & Billy Two Rivers to a double count out.
 
~ Raymond Rougeau defeated the Hangman (W/the Major) with the sleeper hold.
 
 
7/30/77 in the Paul Sauve Arena (Montreal, Qc)
 
~ “Dynamite” Jack Evans defeated Billy Two Rivers after interference from Larry Sharpe and a gordbuster. After the match Chief War Cloud chased the rulebreaking duo from the ring.
 
~ The Mercenaries (Frenchie Martin & Mad Dog Martel) defeated the UFO’s #1 & #2 when Martin pinned UFO #2 after a powerslam.
 
~ Chief War Cloud  battled “Pretty Boy” Larry Sharpe to a double count out. After the decision was ruled both Jack Evans and Billy Two Rivers added to the melee.
 
intermission.
 
~ The Masked Mr. Pro defeated Mr. Hito with a sunset flip from the ring apron.
 
~ Eric the Red (w/The Major) defeated “Quick Draw” Rick McGraw with a splash. After the match Eric pounded on McGraw until referee Adrian Desbois threatened to reverse the decision. Major Duke then blew his whistle and Eric the Red became tame.
 
~ Raymond & Jacques Rougeau Jr. defeated AWA World Jr. Heavyweight Champion Roddy Piper & The Hangman (w/The Major) by disqualification when Eric the Red interfered. The Rougeau’s were able to eventually thwart off Duke’s army.

The battle between the Rougeaus and the Major's army continues. Good bouts there.
 
That whistle and Eric the Red is a cool detail.
 
Sharpe/ Evans and the Native Americans looks good as a program.
 
Mr. Pro is coming along well.
 
The Mercenaries are preparing for the Von Brauners.
 
Great house shows.

the rougeaus vs piper-hangman was a good bout, i bet.
some good bouts here.
billy two rivers...everytime i think of him, i recall the story mando guerrero told us at the CAC this year...i can't tell you but it was sure funny..

That main event at the Paul Sauve Arena was awesome!
 
I'm looking forward to big things from Eric the Red.
 
I like what you've done with the Masked Mr. Pro so far.
