"Welcome to Saturday Night Wrestling. My name is Bill Mercer and we have a great show for you this evening. Tonight, you will see the debut of a newcomer to World Class Championship Wrestling, a monster known as The Brute. In addition, Benny Mendibles, coming off his big win last week against Killer Tim Brooks, takes on Mexican Angel, in a six man tag-match, Fritz Von Erich, Scott Casey and Kevin Von Erich meet Karl Von Hess, Kim Duk and Kenji Shibuya, and in our huge main event, Al Madril meets Haystacks Calhoun.
Tomorrow nights kicks off the Summer Wrestling Series. All three World Class titles will be on the line at every card. That’s right, fans coming to our shows in August are guaranteed to see three title bouts on every card. This means that our existing champions are in for a brutal month of title defenses. I would be surprised if any of our title holders can withstand the onslaught. The Summer Wrestling Series kicks off tomorrow night in Dallas with one of the most anticipated matches in recent memory, as Texas Heavyweight Champion Ernie Ladd defends his title against Bruiser Brody. Joining us on the program is Bruiser Brody.
--- Bruiser Brody and The Brute arrive at the interview center --- Ernie Ladd “Ernie Ladd, the bigger they come, the harder they fall. That’s what is going to happen to you tomorrow night. The battle of the giants will be the end of your time as champion. I’ve beaten men tougher than you, bigger than you. You ain’t got a chance against me. Just to make sure nothing funny happens, I’ve brought in an old friend. He goes by the The Brute and is as crazy as I am. Anyone who wants to stick their nose is my business is going to get a beating from the Brute, then a beating from me. Arrrrgggggg!
Bill Mercer: “Bruiser Brody has brought in the maniacal Brute to World Class Championship Wrestling. The Brute is in action in our first contest.

---Commercial Break--- Bill Mercer: "Last week, on this program, Benny Mendibles scored a huge upset victory over Killer Tim Brooks. Here to talk about his win, and his match later tonight with Mexican Angel, is Benny Mendibles.
--- Benny Mendibles arrives at the interview center --- Benny Mendibles: "Everyone keeps talking about the upset over Tim Brooks. It wasn’t no upset to me. I may be smaller than some of the other guys here, but what you’re going to find is that I’m as tough as they come. Tim Brooks learned that the hard way. If you come into the ring thinking you’re going to face some pushover, you have another thing coming. Brooks, anytime you want another beating, you let me know.
Bill Mercer: “Benny Mendibles is confident after his defeat of Killer Tim Brooks last week. Mendibles has a tough match next against Mexican Angel.
Match #2 Benny Mendibles defeats
Mexican Angel by disqualification for outside interference when
Killer Tim Brooks comes to ringside and attacks Mendibles with his chain. He continues his assault until security comes to ringside.
---Commercial Break--- Bill Mercer: “We saw a vicious attack by Killer Tim Brooks in our last segment. We’ll give you a medical report on Benny Mendibles’ condition as soon as we get it. This Wednesday night, as the Summer Wrestling Series head to Denton, Texas, Kevin Von Erich and Scott Casey get a shot at the Texas Tag-Team titles as they meet Masa Saito and Mr. Fuji. Joining us now are Kevin Von Erich and Scott Casey.
Kevin Von Erich and Scott Casey arrive at the interview center --- Scott Casey “ This Wednesday night, the nightmare that has fallen upon World Class finally comes to end. Skandar Akbar, and his foreign goons, they finally get what’s coming to them. Kevin and I are going to take those tag-team belts.
Kevin Von Erich “In my hometown of Denton, Texas, in front of the fans who have meant so much to me, we will win the Texas Tag-Team titles. Akbar and his men don’t deserve to wear the belts. We will give Texas a tag-team to be proud of. “
Bill Mercer: "In Denton, Texas, this Wednesday night, Kevin Von Erich and Scott Casey hope to win the Texas Tag-Team titles. The duo will be joined by American Heavyweight Champion Fritz Von Erich in our next contest.
Match #3 American Heavyweight Champion Fritz Von Erich, Scott Casey and Kevin Von Erich defeat
Karl Von Hess, Kim Duk and Kenji Shibuya via pinfall when Casey lands a bulldog on Shibuya and covers for the pin. (12:34)
---Commercial Break--- Bill Mercer: “Before we get to our huge main event, we are joined by the man who will defend his Texas Heavyweight Title tomorrow night against Bruiser Brody. Please welcome Ernie Ladd and his manager, Gary Hart.
Texas Heavyweight Champion Ernie Ladd and Gary Hart arrive at the interview center--- Ernie Ladd “Brody, you ain’t nothing but a big dummy. You come in here, telling everyone how you’re a giant. A giant dummy, that’s all you are. I’m the only true giant around here. I dominated pro football, I’ve dominated professional wrestling, and this Sunday night, I will dominate my match against you. The world has been waiting for this match, waiting to see the big dummy known as Bruiser Brody get beat.
Gary Hart “Bruiser Brody has many flaws, my champion has none. All of the strategy, all of the planning, all of it will result this Sunday night in Bruiser Brody getting the beating of a lifetime. I challenge anyone to step in our way.
Bill Mercer: “Ladd and Brody is guaranteed to be a wild encounter. Let’s go to the ring for our main event as Al Madril and Haystacks Calhoun, after weeks of insults and threats, finally meet in the ring.
Match #4 Al Madril and
Haystacks Calhoun battle to a double-countout when their heated exchange heads to the ring aisle. (10:42) The two men continue to brawl long after the bell has rung.
