Opening Match, one fall, 20 minutes
Superfly Tui vs. Guy Lambert

The young Tui uses his quickness to control the action. Lambert gets in a few shots, but Tui wins with the Superfly leap.
Winner-Superfly Tui (13:51)

Second Match, one fall, 20 minutes
Steve Rickard vs. Johnny Karisma

Rickard, the veteran from New Zealand, has been making a name for himself in California. The arrogant Karisma will be a stiff test. The match is very close. Both men score nearfalls, bur Rickard puts the sleeper on Karisma and it’s over.
Winner-Steve Rickard (14:09)

Third Match, one fall, 20 minutes
Woody Farmer vs. Ray Stevens

This match was not advertised. Farmer waits in the ring. There is a commotion from the dressing room area. Ray Stevens comes down the aisle. The Stockton crowd is in for a treat. Stevens has been competing in the tag team tanks, but tonight it’s one on one. Farmer uses every trick in the book, but the “Blond Bomber” is too much he sets Woody for the piledriver and the crowd goes crazy.
Winner-Ray Stevens (12:44)

Fourth Match, one fall, 20 minutes
Sam Steamboat vs. Jerry Monti

The veteran Steamboat has looked goos since his return to California. Monti will be a challenge tonight. They match wrestling holds and Steamboat gets the better of Monti. He gets a two count with an Oklahoma roll. Monti kicks out and goes to the fisticuffs. Steamboat retaliates and wins with the flying bodypress.
Winner-Sam Steamboat (16:27)

Fifth Match, one fall, 45 minutes
Earl Maynard vs. Ben Justice w/J.C. Dykes

Justice is upset about being banned from the Cow Palace next week. He may try to take in out on Maynard, but Earl can take care of himself. Maynard uses his strength to control the early action. This frustrates Justice and he takes to the floor to confer with Dykes. Justice returns, but he still can’t solve Maynard. The tide turns when Dykes distracts Maynard and Justice goes to work. He punishes Maynard and slaps on the sleeper. Earl fights it, but he’s out. Justice grabs the mic from Pepper Martin, “You fans are lucky. You got to see the great Ben Justice! The people in San Francisco don’t get to see me next week, but they will. If Terry Funk leaves anything, I’m going to destroy Sammartino!”
Winner-Ben Justice (16:42)

Semi-Final, one fall, 60 minutes
Colosso Colosetti and Texas Red w/Saul Weingeroff vs. Pepper Gomez and Kevin Sullivan

This will be wild. Red and Gomez have been going at it all over the territory and Colosetti and Weingeroff want revenge against Sullivan. Kevin and Colosso start the match. The exchange holds and counter holds. Sullivan gets a near fall and Colosetti tags in Texas Red. The masked man goes to work on Kevin. Gomez tags in and it’s Red vs. Pepper. They begin to brawl and it’s even. The match continues with neither team gaining a clear edge. Sullivan and Red are in the ring and Red moves Kevin into the wrong corner. He and Colosetti go to work. Every time Gomez tries to help, the referee stops him and Sullivan takes more punishment. Finally Gomez gets in the ring and we have a pier six brawl. The official has no choice, but to disqualify both teams.
Result-Double Disqualification (20:45)

Main Event, one fall, 60 minutes
Pacific Coast Championship
Bruno Sammartino (Champion) vs. Alexis Smirnoff

Bruno meets Terry Funk next week in Daly City. Smirnoff may be looking to catch the Champ looking ahead. Smirnoff attacks Sammartino before the bell. The big Russian has the edge. He slams Bruno’s head into the turnbuckle. Sammartino slumps in the corner. Smirnoff puts his big Russian boots to him. He pulls Bruno to his feet and goes for the Russian neckbreaker. There could be a title change! Sammartino blocks it and goes to work. Bruno punches and kicks away at Smirnoff and the man from Stalingrad rolls out of the ring. Bruno stands in the ring and the crowd cheers wildly. Alexis returns to the ring and the match continues. Smirnoff gets in some good shots, but Bruno is too much. He clamps the bearhug on Smirnoff and the Russian submits. Ben Justice comes to ringside. He grabs a mic, “Sammartino, you coward! You got me banned from the Cow Palace next week! You can’t beat Funk. After that match I want you in the ring! I want that title!” Bruno takes the ring mic from Martin, “Justice, you have a big, big mouth! You just get your name on a contract and I’ll take care of you!” The crowd goes crazy.
Winner-Bruno Sammartino (22:54)
