Still playing catch-up from FanFest........please bear with me. Short recap of this week's television taping leading up to the huge card for tomorrow night August 18th!
 
Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling  
8/15/77 TV RECAP
 
-Show opens with Bob Caudle and David Crockett recapping events over the past couple weeks.
 
-Footage is shown of the Anderson's losing the NWA World Tag Team Titles in St. Louis to Jesse Ventura and Ken Patera.
 
-Ole and Gene come out livid that the footage was shown and cut a promo saying they will do whatever it takes to get back "their" titles!
 
-TV Match 1- Ole and Gene Anderson destroy Mike Davis and Doug Sommers.
 
-TV Match 2- Ricky Steamboat defeats Bill White with a flying cross body block from the top rope.
 
-Bob and David interview Chief Wahoo McDaniel at ringside. Wahoo talks about his problems with both the Masked Superstar and NWA World Heavyweight Champion Terry Funk. Terry Funk comes out unexpectedly and confronts Wahoo and the two get into a fight that spills into the ring! Wahoo gets the upperhand until out of the back comes...........Dory Funk Jr.!! Dory and Terry do a number on Wahoo working on his legs and Dory applies the spinning toe-hold! Finally, the locker room empties to break up the melee.
 
-After commercial Bob and David interview Dory and Terry Funk about the incident. The Funk Brothers mean business and really belittle not only Wahoo but Masked Superstar as well.
 
-TV Match 3- Angelo Mosca successfully defends his Mid-Atlantic Television Title against Danny Miller.
 
-TV MAIN EVENT- In a great match Tully Blanchard and Johnny Weaver defeat Robert Fuller and Bobby Duncum! Tully is estatic as he will now receive a Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship match next week right here on TV!

I too, am glad to see the Andersons back on a full-time basis and tearing through the competition.  I'm hoping they eventually regain the World tag team titles.
 
In some ways, I prefer these shorter, recap-type shows.  It only takes a moment to read, and you can get the gist of everything.

i like the shorter stuff too. this my be a tad too short, understandably. but i think going into way too much detail on stuff, loses the reader.
