"Welcome to Saturday Night Wrestling. My name is Bill Mercer and we have a great show for you this evening. Tonight, you will see Kevin Von Erich and Scott Casey in action, Chicky Starr meets Ron Sexton, Professor Toru Tanaka takes on Cocoa Samoa, and in our huge main event, Ernie Ladd and Pak Song meet Bruiser Brody and The Brute.
I have two big announcements. The first is that next Sunday night in Tulsa, Oklahoma, World Heavyweight Champion Terry Funk will defend his title. Who will he face? The World Class Board of Directors has ordered that a battle royal be held this Wednesday night in Beaumont, with the winner earning the world title shot against Terry Funk.
Secondly. it is truly my great honor to announce to the great fans of World Class Championship Wrestling that we have our first title change of the Summer Wrestling Series. Last Wednesday, in Denton, Texas, Scott Casey and Kevin Von Erich upset Mr. Fuji and Masa Saito to become the new Texas Tag-Team Champions! Joining me on the program now are the new tag champs, Scott Casey and Kevin Von Erich.
--- Scott Casey and Kevin Von Erich arrive at the interview center --- Scott Casey “Thank you Bill Mercer and thank you to all the great fans who helped us win these titles. Texas deserved to have champions they can be proud of, not some cheating foreigners. We will fight and defend these belts with honor and dignity.
Kevin Von Erich: “We know Fuji and Saito are going to be gunning for us. We know that some people think our win was an upset. We know that this means we will have to go through the challenge of the Summer Wrestling Series as champions. We also know we are up to the task. Winning these titles in my hometown of Denton means everything to me. Wearing these belts is truly a special honor, and I can guarantee, we will fight to make sure these titles don’t go anywhere near Akbar or his men.
Bill Mercer: “The new champions are ready to defend their titles! With the Summer Wrestling Series in full force, they will have to hold off some tough challenges. Let’s go to the ring as the champs are in action in non-title action.

---Commercial Break--- Bill Mercer: "Tomorrow night, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Fritz Von Erich faces one of the toughest challenges of his career as he defends his American Heavyweight Title against Professor Toru Tanaka. Tanaka has run roughshod all over World Class Championship Wrestling, and he is looking to win some gold this week. Joining us now is the American Heavyweight Champion, Fritz Von Erich
--- American Heavyweight Champion Fritz Von Erich arrives at the interview center --- Fritz Von Erich: "First of all, let me congratulate my boy Kevin Von Erich on teaming with Scott Casey to win the Texas Tag-Team titles. He may be young but he’s as tough as they come. I know Akbar and his men will be gunning for Kevin and Scott, just like they are gunning for me this Sunday night. Akbar, I’ve taken out every man you’ve sent against him. This Sunday night won’t be any different. The Professor is going to get a lesson. Keep bringing on the challengers Akbar, I’ll keep sending them home.
Bill Mercer: “Fritz Von Erich is ready for his showdown in Oklahoma City with Professor Toru Tanaka! Let’s go the ring as the young Puerto Rican sensation Chicky Starr is in action.
Match #2 Chicky Starr defeats
Ron Sexton following a top rope elbow drop and pinfall. (5:56). After the match, Starr grabs the house mic and launches into a diatribe insulting David Von Erich.
---Commercial Break--- Bill Mercer: “Our next guest saw his tag-team duo lose the Texas Tag-Team titles last week in Denton. He has a chance to win the American Heavyweight Title tomorrow night though. Joining us now is Skandar Akbar and his gang of foreign mercenaries.
Skandar Akbar, Mr. Fuji, Masa Saito and Professor Toru Tanaka arrive at the interview center --- Skandar Akbar “ The infidels may think they’ve won the war. They have won nothing. What happened in Denton was part of the infidel conspiracy against my men. They may not have the tag-titles, but it is only temporary. We will soon regain the tag belts from the weaklings known as Casey and Von Erich. Tomorrow night, in Oklahoma City, we take out the ring-leader of the infidels, Fritz Von Erich. Professor Toru Tanaka is an unstoppable warrior. Fritz Von Erich will lie at his feet.
Bill Mercer: "Professor Toru Tanaka has a tough tune-up match tonight as he meets Cocoa Samoa in our next contest.

---Commercial Break--- Bill Mercer: “Before we get to our huge main event, we are joined by the man who was able to hold onto his Texas Heavyweight Title last Sunday night in Dallas, under dubious circumstances. I can announce tonight that Bruiser Brody and Ernie Ladd will have a rematch on August 21 in Waco, Texas. In order to prevent outside interference from Gary Hart or any other parties, the rematch will be inside a steel cage! Joining us now is Texas Heavyweight Champion Ernie Ladd, Gary Hart and Pak Song.
Texas Heavyweight Champion Ernie Ladd, Gary Hart and Pak Song arrive at the interview center--- Ernie Ladd “I don’t care what’s around the ring when I wrestle the big dummy Bruiser Brody. I’ll fight you anytime, anywhere, jack. You came out here, running your mouth, that you were going to win this title. I still have it, jack. You lost then dummy and you’ll lose next time we step into the ring.
Gary Hart “With my knowledge of the wrestling industry, I have made this man into an unbeatable champion. Brody, he is not a smart wrestler. He is no match for the brains and intellect of Gary Hart, and the sheer strength of Ernie Ladd. With Pak Song watching our back, there is no way we can beat.
