WWA INDIANAPOLIS- BOCK VS BRUISER LUMBERJACK
Aug 20th, 2007, 2:11am

WWA INDIANAPOLIS WRESTLING
HINKLE FIELDHOUSE
INDIANAPOLIS, IN
BELL TIME 3:00

Before the card begins, COMMISSIONER EDOUARD CARPENTIER announces that, due to commitments in the Maritimes, JOHNNY POWERS would not be appearing.  Instead, CARPENTIER would take his place against MITSU ARAKAWA.  The fans are disappointed at first, but cheer wildly when the substitution is announced.

MATCH #1

BIG DADDY  VS  MOONDOG KING

These two behemoths tear into each other power moves.  Halfway through the match, GEN. GEORGE CANNON lumbers to the ring to watch the action.  In the end, BIG DADDY is too much for the MOONDOG and wins with the big splash.  CANNON walks to the back with no expression on his face.

WINNER:  BIG DADDY @ 9:54

MATCH #2

DEWEY ROBERTSON & LUIS MARTINEZ  VS  THE BOUNTY HUNTERS

This match is dominated by the BOUNTY HUNTERS, until #1 hits #2 by mistake.  MARTINEZ dropkicks #1 out of the ring and DEWEY catches #2 in a small package for the win.

WINNERS:  DEWEY ROBERTSON & LUIS MARTINEZ @11:32

MATCH #3

RUFUS R. JONES  VS  BAD NEWS ALLEN COAGE w/GEN. GEORGE CANNON
Great match as the momentum swings back and forth.  JONES wins with a head-butt as COAGE misses with a reverse punch that RUFUS ducks.

WINNER:  RUFUS R. JONES @9:49

MATCH #4

MITSU ARAKAWA w/GEN. GEORGE CANNON  VS  EDOUARD CARPENTIER
CARPENTIER outclasses ARAKAWA early with flying and scientific moves.  Just as it looks like CARPENTIER will get the win,  a masked man storms the ring and judo chops the commissioner in the throat as CANNON has the referee's attention.  ARAKAWA applies the claw and the referee calls for the bell. After recovering, CARPENTIER says he will find out who it was that interfered and hurries to the dressing rooms.

WINNER:  MITSU ARAKAWA @ 12:12

INTERMISSION

MATCH #5

THE GRAHAMS  VS  KILLER KOWALSKI & SAILOR ART THOMAS

THE GRAHAMS brutally attack the fan favorites before the bell.  JERRY JR. focuses on the shoulder of THOMAS.  LUKE tags in and continues the assault.  The GRAHAMS continue tagging in and out for several minutes until THOMAS finally tags in a fresh KOWALSKI.  The KILLER cleans house and prepares to put the claw on JERRY JR., but is caught with a knee to the back by LUKE that sends KOWALSKI flying through the ropes.  The KILLER is groggy when he gets to his feet and is dragged back into the ring by LUKE where he is piledriven.  The referee counts three and the GRAHAMS are victorious.

WINNERS:  THE GRAHAMS @14:08

MATCH #6

ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER, THE SHEIK, & CHRIS COLT
                                    VS
CRUSHER, MARK LEWIN, & BOBO BRAZIL

Wild, wild match as all six men through the rulebook out.  SHEIK, ABBY, & COLT take turns using foreign objects on the popular trio.  Eventually, CRUSHER'S team rallies with rough tactics of their own.  All six men are a bloody mess as the twenty minute mark passes.  The referee is knocked down as BOBO accidentally collides with him.   BOBO takes control on COLT and has him staggered when out of nowhere, the SHEIK hurls a fireball in the face of BRAZIL.  BOBO goes down like a ton of bricks and is pinned by COLT.  The referee recovers and administers the three count.  After the match, the evil trio does a number on CRUSHER & LEWIN and SHEIK hits them both with fireballs.  The referee reverses his decision, but that is little help to our three heroes.

WINNERS:  CRUSHER, LEWIN, & BRAZIL by reverse decision @33:59

MATCH #7
AWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH (LUMBERJACK RULES)
NICK BOCKWINKEL  VS  DICK THE BRUISER

NICK BOCKWINKEL approaches the ring followed by "his" lumberjacks:  MITSU ARAKAWA, BAD NEWS ALLEN COAGE, GEN. GEORGE CANNON, CHRIS COLT, & THE BOUNTY HUNTERS.  THE BRUISER comes to ringside followed by only RUFUS R. JONES, DEWEY ROBERTSON, & LUIS MARTINEZ.  COMMISSIONER CARPENTIER enters the ring and announces that BRUISER'S friends CRUSHER, LEWIN, & BOBO are in no condition to serve as lumberjacks.  He says that he will be one of the lumberjacks as well as a man who has the size to make up for a couple of the other lumberjacks...BIG DADDY!!!  As BIG DADDY makes his way to the ring, a mysterious man with what appears to be a bag of some kind can be seen in the shadows.  As the bell sounds to start the match, BRUISER looks like a million bucks.  He throws BOCKWINKEL around the ring like a rag doll.  Stomps, kicks, punches, and traditional wrestling holds have the chapion reeling.  Soon, BOCKWINKEL finds himself outside the ring where he is shoved back by the fan favorites.  This continues for several minutes as BIG DADDY looks quite impressive by pressing the champion over his head and hurls BOCKWINKEL between the top and middle ropes!  BRUISER looks invinsible until NICK tosses him through the ropes where the heels wait to gang up on the WWA Champion.  The match goes back and forth until, at the forty minute mark, the lumberjacks begin to fight among themselves.  As BRUISER prepares to finish off BOCKWINKEL, he picks him up for a bodyslam, when he is tripped by...BIG DADDY!?  Three slaps of the mat later, NICK BOCKWINKEL is awarded the decision.  BIG DADDY and CANNON embrace and head to the back as fans throw garbage at them.  BRUISER and CARPENTIER are left with a puzzled look on their faces.

WINNER:  NICK BOCKWINKEL @43:02
