Aug 21st, 2007, 10:36am

8/4/77 in the Auditorium de Verdun (Verdun, Qc)

~ Mr. Pro defeated UFO#1 by using a sunset flip back into the ring from the apron.

~ Eric the Red (w/Major Duke) defeated Len Shelley with a big splash. After the match Eric hit a second splash before the Major blew the whistle to get Eric the Red to leave the ring.

~ Chief War Cloud & Billy Two Rivers defeated Jack Evans & Larry Sharpe by count out when Evans & Sharpe refused to re-enter the ring and walked to the back, forcing a count out victory for the Indian team.

intermission.

~ Kurt Von Brauner defeated Frenchie Martin after interference from Karl Von Brauner

~ Mad Dog Martel fought Karl Von Brauner to a double disqualification when Frenchie Martin & Kurt Von Brauner joined the action. Eventually the Mercenaries ran the Tag Team Champions from the ring

~ Quebec Heavyweight Champion Paul LeDuc (w/Major Duke George) defeated Jacques Rougeau Jr. with the Bearhug Avalanche, in preparation for his upcoming match with Raymond Rougeau at the Forum. After the match LeDuc tried to add insult to injury by giving Jacques a second Bearhug Avalanche, but Mad Dog Lefebvre of all people made the save!

8/6/77 in the MONTREAL FORUM (Montreal, Qc)

~ Bout 1: The Masked Mr. Pro & “Quick Draw” Rick McGraw defeated the Masked UFO’s #1 & #2 in 7:45 when Mr. Pro & McGraw pinned both UFO’s with stereo sunset flips. After the match Mr. Pro unmasked UFO #2 to be LEN SHELLEY! Mr. Pro & McGraw went after UFO #1 but he was able to escape before his mask could be removed.

~ Bout 2: Eric the Red (w/Major Duke and the whistle) defeated Daniel Martel in 3:00 after a pair of splashes. After the match Eric mauled young Daniel until the Major blew the whistle to calm the animal.

~ Bout 3: In a Grudge Match Mad Dog Lefebvre defeated The Hangman (w/Major Duke) after a huge power slam in 9:30. After the match Lefebvre tried to go after Duke George, but the Major was able to escape.

~ Bout 4: After a violent, bloody 20 minutes of action, the Mercenaries (Frenchie Martin & Mad Dog Martel) defeated the International Tag Team Champions, Kurt & Karl Von Brauner in a double CHAIN MATCH to REGAIN the International Tag Team Titles. The finish occurred when Kurt Von Brauner (chained to Mad Dog) removed his chain to use it on Martin, but the idea backfired and the Mercenaries used the loose chain to double clothesline both German’s. Frenchie then covered Karl and got the win.

.intermission

~ Bout 5: “Pretty Boy” Larry Sharpe & “Dynamite” Jack Evans defeated Chief War Cloud & Billy Two Rivers in 12:30 when Sharpe pinned Two Rivers after interference from Evans. War Cloud was obviously upset after the match.

~ Bout 6: Jacques Rougeau Jr. defeated AWA World Jr. Heavyweight Champion Roddy Piper (w/Major Duke) by disqualification in 14:00, when the Major interfered at the time it appeared Jacques may have won the title from Roddy. After the bout Piper clobbered Jr. and he and Duke tried to beat down young Rougeau when Jacques Sr. hit the ring, complete with a wooden folding chair. Jacques Sr. swung the chair wildly as the Major bailed, Jacques Jr. then fought back and removed Piper from the ring as well.

~ Bout 7: In the Main Event Raymond Rougeau (w/Jacques Rougeau Sr.) defeated Quebec Heavyweight Champion Paul LeDuc (w/Major Duke) in 27:45 with the sleeper hold to regain the Heavyweight title he lost to LeDuc almost 2 months ago. Jacques St. worked as an equalizer to Major Duke, preventing any managerial interference. LeDuc appeared to have the match won when going for the Bearhug Avalanche but Raymond escaped and applied the sleeper to put the big man to sleep!

After the match many fan favorites joined Raymond in celebration as the crowd went absolutely ballistic. This was a baaad night for the Major over all. One has to wonder how he will handle this on next weeks tv.

Okay everybody, I’m something like a week and a half behind so I’m playing catch up TODAY. Expect me to post everything else that needs to be posted in order to catch up by tonight. Thanks again for reading. Feedback is appreciated!
