Sunday August 19th.  1977  
   
Welcome everyone to SWCW wrestling. I am Gene Kelly alongside Rapido Rodriguez We have a hot show for you tonight. Tito Santana & Lizmark will be in action. We will also have Jimmy Valiant in action for the first time in SWCW. Paul Ellering will face off with Igor Volkoff and Pampero Firpo will put his SWCW title on the line as he goes one on one with Larry Zbysko. We now go to the ring for our first match of the night.

Tito Santana/Lizmark vs. Solar/Tiger Jeet Singh  
 
“This was a good start to the show. Both teams had some fast tags and good double team moves. Santana hit the flying elbow smash on Solar. Santana made the tag and Lizmark hit a big leg drop for the 3 count”

Cowboy Bob Yuma with Cowboy Bob Ellis  vs. Anibal  
 
“After last week Yuma has backup. Ellis comes to the ring with Yuma. The match was back and forth until Yuma hit a huge close line. Yuma now has Anibal hurt and hit the brain buster for the 3 count.”
 
“Gene Kelly talks with the Cowboys”
 
“Gene”
Bob after what the Russian Assassin did to you last week it looks as if you have some backup. Tell us who this man is and why he has come to SWCW.
 
“Yuma”
This man is Bob Ellis. He is an old friend and after last week I picked up the phone and gave him a call. I would like to put this out to all the wrestlers in SWCW. Texas has two new Rangers in town and we will not let the law breaking keep going down. We will put a stop to this with some Texas size justice.  
 
“Ellis”
That right I have my bull rope in hand and Bob has his. If anyone thinks they can just jump one of us that will not fly. We will be on you like stink on well you know what.”
 
“Gene”
That is some big new from the Rangers. We will have to keep an eye on this team and see what happens.

Jimmy Valiant vs. Super Astro  
 
“This is the first match for Jimmy in SWCW. Jimmy makes fast work of Astro with a sleeper hold”  
 
“Gene Kelly talks to Jimmy Valiant”  
 
“Gene”  
 First off let me say welcome to Texas Mr. Valiant. Now I have to ask you this Jimmy what brings you to SWCW?
 
“Jimmy”
I will tell you Gene. I have been to a lot of great states but Texas looked to be were the action is. I am all for the action and when a Valiant hits town something big will happen. For the past few weeks I have been at home watching the shows. I was trying to get my feel for the major players. From what I can see SWCW is on fire right now and for me that is good news. I am just going to take a back seat for now and make my move when the time is right. The fans will have to tune in each week and see what the master has up his sleeve.  
 
“Gene”
OK Jimmy we will all be looking to see what you have up your sleeve.

“Dr. Wagner comes to the ring with the TV Title and Igor Volkoff.”  
Paul Ellering vs. Igor Volkoff (Wagner is in a shark cage and this is a no DQ match)  
 
“Paul pulled out a big win last week and keeps his shot alive for the TV title. Will he do it for a second time as he will take on the big Igor Volkoff. At the bell Igor got the jump on Paul. Wagner is calling out to Igor to work the arm and shoulder. After five min. have passed Paul has worked back into the match and is now on the move. Paul hit three short rights and then a knee to the gut. Paul runs to the ropes and comes off with a bulldog head lock. Igor is down. Paul now hit a knee drop to the face. Paul goes to the second rope and hit a double ax handle to the face of Igor as he made it back to his feet. Paul takes Igor by the head and pulls him up. Paul locked on the pile driver for the 3 count and has moved on to the last match next week. If Paul can get the win over Crusher Broomfield he will then get his TV title shot at Wagner.”

Pampero Firpo vs. Larry Zbysko (SWCW Title Match)  
 
“Both men go toe to toe at the start of the match. Larry takes Firpo down. As Larry works on Firpo El Canek makes his way out. Larry looks over at El Canek. This gives Firpo time to get up and hit an upper cut on Larry. Firpo is back into the match and working Larry over good. As the match keeps going El Canek moves to ring side and picks up a chair. As Firpo sends Larry to the ropes El Canek takes the chair and hits Larry in the back. The Ref calls for the bell. El Canek is now in the ring and takes Firpo down with a chair shot to the face. El Canek takes the chair and hits both me in the back and head as the show goes to black.

glad canek can take the heat...
yuma and ellia should be a decent twosome
valiant was good here.
maybe i missed something but why the shark cage? you had no buildup to it.

Go back like 3 or 4 weeks on my TV show. Wagner told Paul he had to take on 3 men on one night. Paul came out the next week and told Wagner he was on and that the GM made it over 3 weeks not in one night each match was a no DQ and Wagner had to be locked up for each match. I did do a build up over like 3 or 4 weeks in the past or even longe if you see how long Paul has called out Wagne and Wagner would not give hit the title shot. Paul has told Wagner frome day one he can play dirty like Wagner does. This is one thing I have pushed hard. The next thing I have been pushing is El Canek as a bad a$$. El Canek will lead to something big.

OK Paul I told you I would give you a title shot but only if you can get a win over 3 men in one night. I also told you I would name my 3 men and you will love this line up. First you will have to face the man who will test your wrestling skills. This man knows no fear. Your first match will be with Tiger Jeet Singh. If by some chance you get past him I will have you face someone with ice water for blood. This man has the power to break you in half. Your second match will be with Igor Volkoff. Now I know you will not get past that man but I have to name my third wrestler. He is 400lbs. of raw power. He has been known to take on four men at one time. He has been called a “One Man Gang” you will have to face Crusher Broomfield. I know that you will not say yes to my match up’s so we can just call all of this off and I will go back to Mexico and have a few cerveza’s  and kick back for the week.  
 
 “At this point the fans go crazy as Paul comes into the ring”  
 
“Paul takes the mic out of the hand of the Dr.”  
 
I will tell you what Doc. I say yes to your matches. I told you I am a dirty player also. I have talked to the G.M. and he has given me the OK on a few things I asked for. First if I would say yes to your matches that each one would be a no DQ match. Next you will be locked inside a shark cage at ringside for each match. And the last thing is I don’t have to face each man on the same night. This will take place over 3 weeks. If you try to back out on this you will have to hand over your title and pack your bags because you will be sent back to Mexico with your sombrero in hand! What do you have to say now amigo? Do you have the Pelotas (Balls) to play for blood?

With so many thing going on we all forget story lines from time to time hell we both have two things going on and working to keep things in line is hard some times. LOL
