Texas Tag-Team Champions Scott Casey & Kevin Von Erich defeated  Al Madril and Killer Tim Brooks via pinfall when Casey landed a bulldog on Brooks. (19:25)

Texas Heavyweight Champion Ernie Ladd w/ Gary Hart defeated The Brute in a tough contest when Hart distracted Brute, leaving him prey to a boot to the face from Ladd and pinfall . (16:20)

American Heavyweight Champion Fritz Von Erich defeated Masa Saito w/ Skandar Akbar via submission when FVE caught Saito in the dreaded iron claw. (15:14). After the match, Saito and Akbar attacked Fritz until Scott Casey and Kevin Von Erich made the save.

Main Event
NWA World Heavyweight Champion Terry Funk and Bruiser Brody had a wild match that eventually ended in a double countout. (29:53) Neither man was afraid to utilize dirty tricks as the bout eventually turned into an all out brawl. Both men continued to battle, neither wanting to give an inch, until finally separated by security.  

Great wins by the Mexican Angel and Mendibles.
 
Von Erich and Casey look to be a great team.
 
Brody and Funk would have been a hoot to watch.
