Main Event
Bruiser Brody defeated Texas Heavyweight Champion Ernie Ladd w/ Gary Hart inside a steel cage to capture the Texas Heavyweight Championship. (30:14) From the opening bell, Bruiser Brody attacks Ladd, catching him off-guard. Brody controls the match, using brawling to keep Ladd at bay. Gary Hart, sensing the match getting away from Ladd, throws a foreign object into the ring. Before Ladd can use it though, Brody is able to wrest away from Ladd and instead uses it on the Big Cat! Brody then sends Ladd head first into the steel cage.  Brody is having his way with Ladd. As Ladd is hunched over in a corner, he uses a low blow to stun his incoming opponent. Ladd then delivers a hard right to the head of Brody. Another. Another. Another. He whips Brody into the ropes and lands a knee to the midsection. He grabs Brody by the hair and grinds his head into the steel cage! Brody is on the ring apron when Ladd lands a boot to the forehead. He then drops a knee on Brody's forehead. Brody is leaning against the ring ropes. Ladd charges at him but Brody moves! He uses Ladd's own momentum to send him head first into the steel cage. Both men are injured. They have a back and forth struggle for the next few minutes. Ladd eventually gets the upper hand. He sends Brody shoulder-first into the turnbuckle. As Ladd charges in, Brody lands a series of forearms to the face. He grinds Ladd's head into the steel cage again. Ladd falls to the mat. Brody goes for the cover. Gary Hart is screaming at Ladd to kick out. He does at the two count. Brody attempts an elbow drop but Ladd moves! Ladd uses all his energy reserves to send Brody again headfirst into the steel cage. Brody is draped against the turnbuckle. Ladd charges in. BRODY MOVES!!! Ladd hits the ringpost and falls to the mat. Brody lands a desperation leg drop and covers for the pin. 1….2…3!!! WE HAVE A NEW TEXAS HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION. Gary Hart is beside himself.

Great show! The last three matches are about as physical and hard hitting as they come. I've always been a mark for the Von Erichs and Scott Casey, so I'm really enjoying your tag champions. East Texas fans are getting their money's worth from your promotion.
