TV… Curran & Britton open the show and talk about Larry Sharpe’s not so clean win over Mad Dog Lefebvre last week on TV. The Pretty Boy is now the Television champion after the help of Paul LeDuc & Major Duke George…It is announced that Larry Sharpe’s first challenger will be Greg Peterson and that match will take place after our first break. Mad Dad Dog Lefebvre is out and is as mad as ever, after being screwed out of the TV title last week. Lefebvre demands a match against Paul LeDuc, and also wants to get his hands on his former manager, The Major. Curran hopes to get an answer from LeDuc & the Major later in the broadcast. .commercial Bout 1: NEW Television Champion “Pretty Boy” Larry Sharpe (w/Jack Evans) defeated Greg Peterson in 4:00. Sharpe & Evans are now with Curran, the Pretty Boy refuses to acknowledge the way he won the belt last week, claiming he won the belt “on his own”. He & Evans plan to take every belt in the promotion! .commercial Bout 2: Chief War Eagle & Billy Two Rivers defeated UFO & Len Shelley when Rivers was about to defeat Shelley, when War Eagle tagged himself in and made the cover in 4:30. After the match Jack Curran interviews War Eagle & Two Rivers. War Eagle does all the talking and says that Two Rivers has his head back in the game, and the Indian team will soon be the number one contenders again. .commercial It’s interview time and out first is Major Duke George, who is only out for a brief moment to tell Curran that he is indeed drawing up contract papers as he speaks for a LeDuc vs. Lefebvre match for the Montreal Forum on September 3rd! The Major plans to have the contract finished by the end of the show, and will present it to Lefebvre then. If the Mad Dog lays one hand on the Major today, he will not get the match at the Forum on the 3rd. Out next is the newest team to hit the International Wrestling scene, the Alaskan Bears, Mike & Jay York….Jay York is short & sweet challenging the Mercenaries to a title match. This brings out the International Tag Team Champions, Frenchie Martin & Mad Dog Martel. The Alaskans talk about their match last week with the champs, and claim the Mercenaries got DQ’d on purpose because they couldn’t defeat the Alaskan’s. Jay York issues a challenge, if they can beat the Champions by pin fall or submission on a card this week, in a non-title bout, the Mercenaries have to give them a title shot on September 3rd at the big Forum show. Frenchie Martin agrees. .commercial Bout 3: The Masked Mr. Pro defeated Fred Peloquin in 4:00 by submission with an abdominal stretch. Jack Curran conducts the first interview EVER with Mr. Pro. The Masked Man talks about how much he loves the area and the great competition. All of a sudden, Mr. Pro is interrupted by UFO. UFO calls Mr. Pro a pretender and says he doesn’t like imposters. UFO challenges Mr. Pro to a MASK VS. MASK MATCH at the Forum on September the third. Mr. Pro accepts the challenge! .commercial It’s feature match time… Bout 4: Jacques Rougeau Jr. & Rick McGraw vs. Eric the Red & The Hangman (w/Major Duke George) Good small bout, Jacques gets the upper hand early but the army comes back and takes down Rick McGraw. The army works over McGraw but he finally escapes when the Hangman misses a knee drop, and Rick makes the hot tag to Jacques. Jacques comes in and goes after the army, McGraw is back up and is now helping Jacques in a 2 on 2 melee. Eric the Red eventually tosses McGraw from the ring! Jacques gets a roll up on The Hangman, 1---2----Eric the Red clocks Jacques in the head with his Mastodon sized bone. Referee Andre Roy signals for the DQ & calls for the bell in 6:30. The Army continue to pound on Jacques, making him a bloody mess by way of Eric the Red’s bone. McGraw tries to re-enter the ring but is tossed again. At this point Quebec Heavyweight Champion, Raymond Rougeau hits the ring! Raymond is out and gets the upper hand on the Army momentarily but with two on one, it doesn’t last long. The Hangman then holds the champion while Eric the Red bashes him with the bone also! Both Rougeau Brothers now lay bloody on the mat. Eric the Red hits a big splash on Jacques, and then one on Raymond as well! We have all 3 officials out threatening to suspend the Major’s Army it they do not retreat immediately. The Major pulls the Hangman out of the ring, then blows the dog-like whistle to control the beast known as Eric the Red. Eric leaves the ring as well after hearing the whistle. The Major leaves with his army covered in Rougeau blood. .commercial Curran & Britton talk about what just happened. Britton says the Rougeau/Duke Army war is FAR from over. Curran calls what just happened despicable… The Major is back out now, with contract in hands, already signed by Paul LeDuc. Now all that needs to be done, is to get a signature from Mad Dog Lefebvre for a match between the two at the Forum. As Lefebvre comes out, Duke reminds him that if he touches the Major, the match is off. Mad Dog remains calm and keeps his cool. Lefebvre takes the contract and says he needs a week to look it over. The Major reluctantly agrees and gives the Mad Dog one-week to sign the contract or Lefebvre will NEVER get the match with Paul LeDuc. The Mad Dog takes the contract and says he will see the Major next week and the contract WILL BE SIGNED. The Major laughs and tells Lefebvre he can read the contract for a week or a year, but he has no brains so it does him no good. Lefebvre leaves the area as the credits begin to appear on the screen over the announcers. On next week’s show, the TV Champion Larry Sharpe will be in action! We hope to hear from the Rougeau Brothers and their state of mind after what happened today! We hope to have the match signed between LeDuc & Lefebvre for the Forum and much more on International Wrestling!
