Tom Bender: "Welcome from the County Coliseum in El Paso ladies and gentlemen, I'm Tom Bender and joining me is a longtime voice of Texas wrestling, Gene Goodison, as the Pan-American Wrestling Council presents Championship Wrestling from El Paso. Gene what do we have lined up for today's program?
Gene Goodison: "Tom another big night of professional wrestling action took place just 24 hours ago in Juarez, and later in this hour we will be talking about an even bigger card of action taking place in that town in just three weeks--- a card so big, Pan-American Wrestling Council had to rent out Plaza del Toro!
"On this weeks program you will see Ricky Romero take on Gorgeous George Jr. . . .in a match I'm looking forward to seeing, Tiger Conway Jr will face Dr. Ferris . . . and how about this, the Top Dog of them all, NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion, Jerry Brisco will wrestle a rising and exciting young Mexican star, Cien Caras, all that and a lot more this week, on Championship Wrestling!
Tom: "On top of what Gene just outlined, we will have a word with Jose Lothario and Ricky Romero, Flama Roja as well, and Captain Ed George will comment on his match with The Pharaoh. Our first match when we return!

Gene Goodison is at ringside with the World Brass Knux Champion, Flama Roja!
Gene: "Flama Roja, you defeated Jose Alex Perez to retain that belt, but after that match, an unnecessary assault on Perez in my opinion, and as a result of your actions, Jose Alex Perez is still in the hospital, under intensive care!
Roja: "Monsieur, you see this belt, no? In oder to step into the ring and compete, you must be tough, toughest of the tough, yes? Well, this Jose Alex Perez was not tough enough, not tough enough stand in the ring and defeat Flama Roja, and I made sure that he paid the price. I do not respect this, this Jose Alex Perez, nor do I respect any opponent that cannot be better than me, see.
"As for Jose Lothario, Jose Lothario you stepped in while Flama Roja was teaching Jose Alex Perez and all the competitors in the NWA an important lesson, and you laid your hands on the World Brass Knuckles champion. Well, Monsieur Supersock, seeing that you want to be World Bass Knuckles champion so bad, Flama Roja is putting this belt on the line against you September 16 at Plaza del Toro. However, be warned, Monsieur Supersock--- if you do not pass the test, if I deem you unworthy, you will face this same treatment as Jose Alex Perez, understand?
Gene: "Harsh words from Flama Roja, fans! More wresting action when we return.

TIGER CONWAY JR. V DR. FERRIS Gene: "Tom, Tiger Conway Jr. has challenged Don Carson for the NWA Gulf Coast Championship September 16 at Plaza del Toro, but Carson has made it clear that Tiger has to go through Dr. Wayne Ferris first!
Its a competitive match, but Conway prevails at 8:11 and gets his title match!
Tom: "Its official-- the undefeated Tiger Conway Jr will challenge Dirty Don Carson in three weeks for the Gulf Coast title! More after this.

Gene is joined by JOSE LOTHARIO AND RICKY ROMERO at ringside as Cien Caras waits in the ring.
Gene: "Jose Lothario, Flama Roja says that he will be teaching YOU a lesson in the ring September 16. What kind of lesson can any wrestler teach Jose Lothario?
Jose: "Well, Gene, let me start by saying that our good friend Blue Demon was supposed to join us, but was so embarrassed, so upset by the loss of his blue jacket to Adrian Street that he could not bring himself to be on camera today, but I have this announcement--- that while as of this moment Adrian Street is the man that will get the World title shot against Jerry Brisco September 16 at Plaza del Toro, Blue Demon will challenge Street for his jacket in two weeks, right here on Championship Wrestling, and I predict Blue Demon WILL get his jacket back, and it will be BLUE DEMON against Jerry Brisco on September 16!
Gene: "September 16 at Plaza del Toro, its the big one, fans, get your tickets early, but speaking of which, some ominous threats to you Jose Lothario by the World Brass Knux champion, Flama Roja.
Jose: "Gene, I apologize for not answering your question. Very, very tough guy this Flama Roja. Okay, he is a tough wrestler, no doubt, but to then beat a man after he has been knocked out? That is not OK with me, Flama Roja, and THAT is why I stepped in and put a stop to it last night in Juarez. But you know what Flama Roja, you dont like what I did? Well guess what. You have a chance to do something about it September 16 at Plaza del Toro when I face you for the World Brass Knux championship. You want to make an example out of me? Well, here I am Flama Roja, go right ahead and try, and see what happens when I rearrange your face with my right hand!
"Gene Goodison, one thing I have done in my life is always, always stand up to bullies, and that is just what Flama Roja is, a bully. Now, there were times when I ended up on the short end of the stick when I went nose to nose with a bully, but that always just made me tougher, and come back at 'em twice as hard. Flama Roja, you are a bully, and in just three weeks, I am gonna show the entire territory what happens when someone tries to play tough guy with Supersock!
Gene: "Also at Plaza del Toro this man Ricky Romero will face Crusher Cortez!
Ricky: " 'Cortez', huh? Well, Crusher Cor-TEZ, being Mexican-American there is one thing I know--- if your name ends in a 'Z" then you will understand what I am about to say!

Tom: "A great wrestling clinic for the fans, and take nothing away from this young Cien Caras, he gave the world champion all he could give, but it wasn't enough right now. We will wrap this up when we return.

Gene: "On next weeks program we will hear comments for the World Junior Heavyweight Champion Jerry Brisco, I'd sure like to hear who HE would prefer to face September 16, Blue Demon or Adrian Street- not an easy choice. Jody Arnold wrestles Raul Matta, and Jose Lothario will face Crusher Cortez in what should be a high impact encounter, but next week, its also this man, Captain Ed George, who will get another shot at The Pharaoh!
Ed: "Gene Goodison as you can see on my forehead, I fought the Pharaoh last night in Juarez, and ended up with a few stitches. But wait until next week--- you will notice the Pharaoh has a few scars of his own! THATS RIGHT, I busted you open last night, Pharaoh, finally, and now someone has given you a taste of your own medicine, and next week, right here on Championship Wrestling, I am gonna finish the job that I started!!!
Gene: "Captain Ed George is fired up, I dont think he wants to wait for next week, Tom!
