Match 1- GEORGE GAISER defeats ZOLTAN THE GREAT with a football tackle after a middle rope clothesline. Time: 10:20 Match 2- MR. JUSTICE defeats BOB GRIFFIN with a sleeper after Griffin missed a top rope fist drop. Time: 14:38 Match 3- DOMINIC DENUCCI defeats ATI TAGO. Tago tries to take several shortcuts in this match, but the veteran DeNucci is able to overcome them. Tago works on the leg of DeNucci for several minutes. When he goes in for a figure four, DeNucci rolls him into a small package for the pin. Time: 16:09 Match 4- GIL HAYES/ ROCK RIDDLE defeat EARL MAYNARD/ VICTOR JOVICA. Hayes and Riddle double team Maynard to start the match. They are able to weaken the former Mr. Universe, but their interaction with the ladies in the crowd gives Maynard a chance to rebound. A double clothesline takes the blond bombers out and allows the tag to Jovica. Jovica is able to work on Riddle’s back until Hayes gets Benitez’ attention. Riddle hits a low blow on Jovica. Riddle and Hayes take out the right leg of Jovica. They both taunt Maynard, causing him to come in and be put back by Benitez. The heels even keep the ref from seeing a tag. Maynard can’t take it anymore. He comes in and cleans house. Benitez tells him to get back. While Earl is being put back once again, Riddle and Hayes hit a double Russian leg sweep on Jovica for the win. Time: 21:10. Match 5- TOSH TOGO defeats HURACAN CASTILLO. Togo spends little time in the ring to start this match. This angers Castillo and he charges at Togo while he is the corner. Togo ducks and pulls Castillo down into the turnbuckle. After the whiplash, Togo works on Castillo’s neck. Every time Castillo gets to his feet, Togo clamps down on the neck muscles that much harder. Castillo manages to drive Togo into the corner to break the hold. He hits a belly-to-back suplex and drops a knee into Togo’s chest. Castillo clamps on a surfboard and weakens Togo’s back. A karate thrust to Castillo’s throat gives Togo the advantage back. Castillo manages to throw Togo through the middle ropes to the floor. Castillo tries to hit a double axe handle from the ring apron. Togo moves at the last second. Castillo’s chest hits the ring railing. Togo rolls Castillo into the ring and applies a claw to Castillo’s chest for the submission win. Time: 20:00 Match 5- ANTONIO INOKI defeats THE PROFESSIONAL. The Professional comes to the ring before Castillo leaves. The masked man continues to beat the man who has been involved in waking up his opponents. Inoki comes running down the aisle and attacks The Pro. Security gets Castillo to the back. Inoki hits a bulldog for a close two count. Inoki works on The Pro’s head. He rains rights and lefts on Pro in the corner. Pro manages to get his arms under the legs of Inoki and drives him to the mat. Pro drops an elbow to Inoki’s chest. He clamps a rear chin lock on Inoki and cinches down hard. He also puts Inoki’s right arm in a figure four arm lock. The end of the match comes when Pro Irish whips Inoki into the ropes. Inoki ducks on the rebound and tries to hit a big kick on Pro. The Pro blocks it but Inoki counters with an ensiguri. The Professional goes down hard and Inoki goes in for the pin. Time: 24:29 Match 7- WWC NORTH AMERICAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH KING CURTIS/ HIGH CHIEF AFI (C) w/ MARK MANSON defeat HERCULES AYALA/ VICTOR RIVERA. The crowd is solidly behind Ayala and Rivera. They yell at Manson at every turn. Manson gives them his patented demonic stare. Rivera tries for a flying body press on Afi but the Samoan drops down. Rivers crotches himself on the middle rope and falls to the floor. Manson goes over and stomps at the lower mid-section. Ayala goes over to help and Manson backs off. Ayala helps Rivera up and rolls him into the ring. The Samoan Kings work over Rivera big time. Curtis takes a plastic pencil from Manson and carves up Rivera. He traps Rivera in a bear hug. Rivera comes close to breaking the hold twice. On the third try, he boxes Curtis’s ears. He hits a dropkick out of nowhere on Afi. He tumbles forward and tags Ayala. The big Puerto Rican really takes charge. A series of hip tosses is followed up by a powerslam. Curtis barely gets his foot on the rope to break the hold. Ayala drops several knees and elbows on the arm of Curtis. Rivera recovers and hits a missile dropkick from the top rope. Curtis manages to jab the pencil into the throat of Rivera and get the tag to Afi. Eventually, the match ends up on the floor. Benitez gets between the pole and a King Curtis splash. Rivera hits Curtis from behind and drives the head into the same ring post. Ayala has Afi in a pile driver. It looks like the titles will change hands. Benitez is still out when El Diablo Mascaras comes out and distracts Ayala. The big man follows the masked man out of the ring. The legal man Rivera is hit from behind by Manson with a tag belt. Benitez comes around to see Afi execute a neckbreaker and a pin on Rivera. Ayala gets to the ring too late to help. Time: 30:21 (c) CAPITAL SPORTS
