WWA Title Match

Dick The Bruiser  vs  Abdullah The Butcher

Pure bedlam from the opening bell.  Bruiser came out quick with punches to the Butcher's head.  Abdullah staggered and fell through the ropes.  Bruiser gave chase and soon The Butcher was bloody from the continued assault of the champion.Abdullah rolls back into the ring and catches Bruiser with kicks as he follows.  Butcher goes on the offensive and pounds the Bruiser with his trusty fork.  Bruiser bleeds heavily and appears to weaken.  Abdullah sets up for the Sudanese elbowdrop.  At the last second, Bruiser moves and Abby crashes to the mat.  Dick rolls over and drapes his arm over the prone body of the Butcher and gets the three count.

Winner:  Dick the Bruiser @21:12

MATCH #7

AWA World Heavyweight Title Match

Nick Bockwinkel  vs  The Crusher

Crusher looks awesome as he takes the battle to the champion from the sound of the bell.  Bockwinkel can't get on track as he is rocked by the punches, kicks, and power moves.  After thirty minutes of abuse, Nick finally lands a knee to the midsection of Crusher.  Bockwinkel pounds away on the challenger for the next ten minutes.  The end comes when the two battlers collide in the ring.  Neither man can answer the referee's count.  The referee announces that the first man to his feet will be the winner.  Both men struggle to get up first with Crusher making it to his feet seconds before Bockwinkel.  The fans go wild!!! Crusher grabs the belt and begins to celebrate.  The referee takes the title from Crusher and returns it to Bockwinkel.  The ring announcer states that although Crusher won the match, Bockwinkel retains the title because he was neither pinned nor submitted!!!  The fans are disappointed, but they know their hero has the champion's number.

Winner:  The Crusher by referee decision @47:54  Bockwinkel retains title.
