Maritime Heavyweight Champion Killer Karl Krupp defeats The Great Malumba in a Chain Match.

The action was very brutal, and in no time both wrestlers where bleeding profusely.    Both men didn’t shy away from using the chain.   The match went on for a good 15 minutes, with both men getting several chances to touch all 4 corners, but unable to put away their opponent.   Both wrestlers got tangled up in the chain and began fighting each other as they each touched the turnbuckles.

After both men touched the first 3 turnbuckle, Krupp appeared to have the advantage and reaches for the final turnbuckle, as Malumba tries to hold on.   It becomes a test of strength with the Chain in the middle.   Malumba releases his grip on the chain, and leaps for the corner, but Krupp catches him and falls into the turnbuckle making it 4.

Krupp retains the title, and Malumba is shocked as he chases the champion from the ring with the chain.
.
.
.
Reginald & Hartford Love defeats the AWA World Tag Team Champions Bruiser & Crusher.

The match started off with Crusher and Bruiser charging the ring and immediately brawling with the Love Brothers.

In the early going, the challengers appeared to be out of their league, as the champions totally dominated the first part of the match, using their brute power and brawling tactics to pummel both Love Brothers.

The momentum does change side, as the Love Brothers manages to trap Crusher in their corner, and they begin beating using several choke holds and double team manoeuvres to control the action and weakened Crusher, all while frustrating Bruiser in the corner.   They do get several near falls, but are unable to put out Crusher, who begins to fight back.

Crusher connects the Love Brothers with a clothesline, and tags in the Bruiser.   Bruiser comes in on fire and pummels both Reginald and Hartford with haymakers, and clotheslines, as Crusher gets back in the ring.   We’ve got all 4 men brawling in the ring, and referee Ron Goguen tries to get Crusher and Hartford Love out of the ring, as Bruiser pummels Reginald Love.   Bruiser connects with a bodyslam and pin, but as the referee is distracted Bobby Bass comes running from the back with a chair, and hits Bruiser with it, and places Reginald on top.

Referee Ron Goguen turns around and goes down for the count.

Bruiser kicks out and sends Reginald flying off.

In the meantime, on the outside Crusher grabs Bobby Bass and begins choking him, as referee Ron Goguen tries to get Crusher back in his corner.

In the ring, Hartford delivers a knee to the back of Bruiser, and Reginald kicks him in the gut and picks him up for Pile Driver.  Hartford quickly climbs to the second rope and leaps off driving Bruisers’ legs down and Reginald falls back with the Pile Driver.

Reginald covers, as Hartford turns referee Ron Goguen around, and goes down for the count.

The Love Brothers will make good tag team Champions. With Gagne and Brunzell in the AWA, I'd like to see that match-up. Very good show.

Good show. I'm still learning about a lot of these wrestlers via your shows, but you always do good work. I have a lot to live up to with this area.
